Imo any improvement at this level comes from improved composure. These blokes have been kicking and handling a footy since they could walk, so if they can't hit the side of a barn by now I hardly think they would with more practice.Are you sure skills can’t be learned at this level? Why have skills sessions at training then? Taylor Adams is one player who immediately comes to mind who couldn’t hit the side of a barn when traded and is now a very good kick.

Horse's plan was clear yesterday, move the ball forward quickly, hence the rushing and nerves from kids like Blakey Rowbottom at important moments. Their composure will improve. But there's a few blokes who have been in the system long enough that it's clear they're just hopeless with their hands and feet.
