I know i'm probably going against the current here, but he crossed the line tonight and has been banished from my good books forever!
Having scuffles during the game is all fine, but to refuse to shake pendlebury's hand at the end of the game is very juvenile. alot is said and done during the course of a game and he should be man enough not to insult our star onballer. Im gonna make a firm stand and back pendles here even if taz WAS one of our greats
what a tool!!!!

When Pendles is on the stage on footballs night of nights receiving his second brownlow medal, he will remember this day!

In fairness I don't think he saw Pendles.

Im sure pendles wont mind too much that people lower than him dont shake his hand.
If Judd did then maybe.
Tarrant lives in WA now so its now built into him to be a d*khead.

But gotta give credit to Pendles tonight!! Superstar in the making, stood up for the team at 3/4 as a younger player. This fella has it all already

Seeing tarrant run off like the girl he is was gold

Guys, Tarrant did not do this deliberately. Of course it looks bad on TV, but at times, I am sure we have all experienced it, you have not shaken someone's hand purely because you haven't seen them. This is what happened here. Stop hanging shit on the guy for no reason.

Here, here, what a pea hearted infant Tozza is, **** off!

the title says it all,he no doubt will be pissed and fighting in a nightclub by
8am in the morning, his effort on obree was pathetic, typical in fact.
I just hope he doesnt take his former teamates down with him, they dont
need it,or him

every pie supporter had copped loads of shit defending taz, it feels good to bag taz, **** off taz you scum

Oops... sorry it looks like this is the wrong thread.

I'm looking for the "We sold Tarrant to an interstate club for a first round pick and now we're cracking the sads because he's actually playing for that club" thread.

Can anyone point that one out to me?

Seriously guys, I don't see why Tarrant dealing out some fair bumps is a criminal act. The only guy you could possibly be upset with is Crowley who nearly killed Presti.

FFS u dumb collingwood fuks use make me feel ashamed to be a supporter leave the guy alone you fuking whingers he had a career high 27 disposals and 12 marks his workrate was excellent his kicking maybe bad but he towled up his opponents one of the best in the league presti. SO GET OVER IT U FCK WITS!

He mayve had all of that,BUT he still cant kick for shit!
Which renders his nights work,shitfull

the ****s wrong with you? support another club then

I dont hate Tarrant. I think he promised so much, delivered snippets of his potential, but never grabbed the proverbial by the horns and make his stand.

When he was traded, I thought I wantd the best for him, I wanted him to do well. Then it dawned on me that I thought that would have been an injustice to teh Pies and to the Pie army.

Secretly, I wanted him to have a shocking season, and Medhurst to fire.

So far Tarrant has been a mixed bag, and I feel kinda sorry for him. Never thought I would actually say that.

Now we have beat Freo, I would love Taz to kick a bag next week against the Tigers.

I have nothing against Tarrant really, but I was happy to take the piss out of him during the game. His kicking is still as awful as ever.

some pies are still defending taz and i understand that, he was one of my fav players, but he cost us 1 and possibly 2 flags, his kicking is awful, and now he plays for freo, why wouldn't you bad him now that the chance is here

I thought he always did well for us, was underrated in terms of how hard he worked for the ball and for others.

still though i couldnt help but laugh when he missed those goals in the last quarter, WELCOME TO TAZZA FREO SUPPORTERS

He saw him and ignored him, even looked at him when walking away giving him the evil eye

Oh and if that was Tarrants best game then **** we pulled off a steal actually getting something for him

To the person who got their post deleted, yeah he did kill Presti, how many goals did he kick? 0? Thats Presti's job to stop goals, we are happy for Taz to get 30 touches on the wing, doesnt do any damage, did you see how no one bothered to follow him up the wing? They didnt even bother manning the mark, they didnt care

Pie Fans must admit Pendlebury got a bit ahead of himself there. Tarrant has been an out 'n' out star for Collingwood for the best part of 8 years. The trade was good for Taz and (more importantly for you guys) good for the club he served for close to a decade, all of a sudden he lets an opposition player feel his presence coming out of his own forward line and a bloke who has shown a bit in 10-15 games is giving it to him like he's just king hit him behind play.

Full credit to Pendlebury he has been fantastic this year but if Tarrant refused to shake his hand then I would love to know what he has said to him. Even his own team mates seemed a bit bemused by the way he carried on.

I agree. Get over it. We had our chance with him. WE (as Collingwood is the greastest club in the world) couldn't get the best out of him, so let it go.

PS: His kicking's still dodgy. But I wouldn't blame missing a flag on him.

A further comment:

I will never forget Tarrant's goal after the siren to give us a win against Adelaide at Footy Park.

I can replay that whole play in my mind whenever I want. And it was a special moment (the winning kick sailed over my head, and that of my Adelaide supporting wife).

I certainly won't bag the boy for moving on.

He is DIFFERENT, and that's why WE enjoyed him. Sadly he's not with us anymore, but some of the stuff I saw/heard on tv tonight was a joke.

He left us because that's modern football and good luck to him.

at the end of the day we dont know what was said on the ground but i do think that you should shake your opponents hand, Fev and dids shook hands. Pendles did the right thing, tarrant didnt. hence the tool comment.

Pretty poor form I feel by a couple of posters in this thread.

I don't care about the booing and heckles at the match (hey I even chipped in) but some of the histeria is over the top. I don't know what happened with Pendlebury but oh well.
in what sense?! i guess if you were at the game you couldnt tell, but taz blatantly snubbed pendles handshake, where i come from that borders on cavemanism

If Tarrant did deliberately ignore Pendles and didn't want to shake his hand, I don't see the big deal, it would say more about Tarrant's character the anything else, if he had have laid out Pendles it would have been a bigger thing to worry about.

Since we cannot really prove that Tarrant did or didn't see Pendles, let's just enjoy the win. :)

Did you read the thread - It's about Tarrant refusing to shake Pendlebury's hand at the end of the game.

I don't care who the hell he is - That's a crap thing to do.
