I just watched a replay of the Freo/Richmond game as painful as it was.

Watching Tarrant in the first quarter, as is now the norm he did a solid job down back.

When he went up front he kicked two goals, set 3 up that resulted in goals and 1 that was marked by deboer straight in front.

I think the time he has spent down back has given him confidence I feel he lacked before. When he kicked the snap goal he was calm and confident.

I think theres still more upside with Taz - strong down back and now with confidence up front he can become an influencial swing man.

Bloody oath. And since Mcpharlin is not as effective as we would like, Tazza becomes our prime swingman. I hope his confidence continues to rise as that will probably have an influence on his decision to play on beyond his current contract. :thumbsu:

He could become the best swingman in the league, providing we have another person that can hold down the last line of defence to free him up. Elvis hasn't shown that he can do the job this year, and MJ has just become a handy utility / part time ruckman.

Some Richmond supporter screamed out "you're a f*#kin loser Tarrant!" after he kicked his 2nd goal. I couldn't help but respond with "that loser just kicked 2 goals on you in 5 minutes!"

His ass is as good as his face.

Damn straight.... :D Top Notch, can come round to my place anytime hehe

I've been a big fan of his work rate for so long, such a pity his yips in front of goal mean that's all people talk about.

He has been awesome this season, really setting a standard down back. Love his niggle and never say die attitude, could teach McPharlin a thing or two about spoling the ball.

Yes, i do agree to all of use who think he should be a swingman..but right now with our fowardd line situation he needs to be full foward.Pav is in the middle and injuries for everyone else who can kick a goal, so this next game against port it needs to be tarrant in the goal square..balla crumbing and i would'nt mind cambell centre half foward.all the rest of the foward position can be given to the likes of thorton, foster, anyone????(not murphy)

so who will play in defence:confused:

i reckon taz will win our B&F this year, which would fly in the face of all those dicks that have bagged him mercilessly for 4 years :thumbsu:

I saw the replay on fox last night and was blown away how good tarrant was in the second half, I didn't notice so much first time round but he nearly won us that game.

Taz will be just turning 30 when his contract is up... I hope someone convinces him to saddle up for another season or two after that. He has been a ****ing revelation this year. :thumbsu:
