With Collingwood getting fed-up with his inconsistancy do you think cartlon should have a crack at him come trade week , what i was thinking , say if carlton did take him we could make him into a backmen , and put him foward at times , hes fast and can catch a player on a lead. So what do you guys think ?
 
he would be such a tough and uncomprimising customer down back. lets give away a first 2 picks for him.

You'd all love him but I doubt you'll get an honest response when talking about a Collingwood player to Carlton followers ;)
 
well to tell u the truth i wouldnt mind him on our team , if he comes cheap why not ? are you guys saying hes not a good player or dont want him for the fact that hes from collingwood

if he is a good player why would he come cheap? you are contradicting yourself richii and you're basically answering your own question. tarrant is soft and inconsistent.

we have seen him play some good games , and those games have come against us true .. its no doubt he has the talent , maybe hes just like fevola .. a superstar just waiting to come out of his shell , fevola was just like him rememebr

if i was juan i would be telling you that tarrant is on the way to carlton for pick 2 ( or whatevah our first round happens to be by the end of the year ) .. what if he comes really cheap for say ? .. justin davies .. or longmuir or sumfin like that ? .. i no that would never happen but lets just say that happens

all respect of the topic went with the defensive bit.....suggesting we get him is ok i suppose but not worth what he would cost.....maybe if we gave them sporn teague and deluca for him? heck be generous why not chambo too :thumbsu:

2nd best forward line in the league containing 2 hacks. Not bad :)

Its a shame Tarrant has 1 more AA guernsey than the whole Carlton forward line :D

Collingwood supporters only defend Tarrant so much because his actions on field arent enough to silence his critics.

He's over-rated and everyone knows it. I would genuinely HATE to see him playing for my club.
 
we can't just make him into a backman

IMO he is a lazy athlete pretending to be a footballer, he currentle has very little defensive skills which are quite crucuial to being a backman

we already have lance who plays a loose man in defence, we don't need tarrant
