Taylor Walker Dropped...

To this point for the last 5 years, I have been a fan of Neil Craig. But he can go and get ****ed. Play our most talented forward player, in the FORWARD line, and he will perform. But he continues to persist with an injured basketballer with no confidence whatsoever.

I wouldnt be suprised if Walker ended up asking for a trade

How can a true forward kick goals at FF if you are at the other end of the ground ? Kick arse at Norwood on Sunday and then say to the AFC give me a chance like you did against Freo and He kicked Four Goals !

Totally agree... I'll reiterate what I said on the Faceoff thread:

"Why drop an old, past it, wingman/half forward playing as a deep KPF who can't kick a goal to save his life when we can drop a young, talented KPF who can kick a goal and is being played horribly out of position across half back/wing due to the aforementioned player being played in his exact position."
:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

"We are just looking for some more speed at this particular stadium,'' Craig said on Thursday.

"Indoors, they are a fast side, so with the possibility of Henderson coming in, and he has got some real speed and plays up forward, so we are just looking for a slightly different mix up there.''

still, it's an odd call. surely if pace was the only concern, you'd look at giving doughty a spell before walker. especially when you consider tex has proven he can kick a bag against these blokes.

as wall-e says, not happy, but we'll see...

edit: best of luck to henderson by the way, looking forward to (hopefully) seeing him in action for the first time :thumbsu:

^^^ This!

I think the way Tex is being developed is rediculous.

I guess Rutten is next to go. He hasn't been kicking too many goals of late :rolleyes:!

I dont know why you wouldnt stick him at FF for this week and see how he goes in his natural role before dropping him. Just doesnt make much sense to me why youd firstly try and play him at half back, then drop him when he doesnt play well there where hes probably never played before

Strange strange strange, if Craigy doesnt want him, i know a stack of others who will grab him.

Will kick a bag for Norwood then what?

Its time for the coach to go. He has no idea. We have one of the most talented up and coming young forward in the competition in Walker and Neil Craig treats him like this.

I cant stand Neil Craig as coach. The sooner he leaves the better!

At least it looks like Hendo will get a game now, as Craig has said Walker was dropped because of the fast paced game the Dogs play! FFS drop Burton instead and let Taylor lead out of the goalsquare. I dont understand Craigs logic?

I have been a fan of Craig's, but this is absolute horsehit at its best

Of course he is playing shit, he is no where near his best position, FF!!!

FFS Neil, pull your head out of your arse, or **** off and lets get a coach who will play our boys in their natural postion!

I didn't mind Tex not being played in 2008, nor did I mind him being dropped last year but THIS YEAR is different. HE NEEDS TIME AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL.

I had a feeling this would happen before the season began when I heard Burton was playing on... I just can't see how both can be played in the same forward line as Craig plays Burton from the square alot... exactly where Tex should be. Walker played well round one, Burton comes in round 2 and his performances immediately drop off! So what does Craigy do?? Drops the young talented one ahead of the old, not-performing one! I thought there were no gold passes for the older ones this season, Neil:rolleyes:

Give me Walker's inconsistency and flashes of brilliance, ahead of Burton's any day. Walker has an excuse, he's young... Burton doesn't. We gain nothing for the future by playing Burton. In fact we're probably hindering Tex's development while we're at it.

Very disappointing decision, but I'm sure that the lad has a lot more character than to ask for a trade because of it.

The way the game is played now there is no spot on the bench for anyone other than midfielders, and at least at the legs he'll get 100 minutes.

Beartoo's comment above is also noteworthy.

Cant agree more with this post just defies logic not to give him a go at F.F and if they leave that other walking ego coming out of square then I will lose it totally.
Drop Walker because not quick enough then leave all the veterans in who show no indication want to chase or pressure anybody or lay a real tackle.
Craigy really starting to lose me now getting close to Shaw days might have to change my alias.
If Henderson going to be in who else is going out surely going to give Jaensch a go . Both will be long time players for Crows but expect that Walker wont he will be on a bike ASAP and we will still be playing b---y Burton at the age of 38 and still take his 1 mark and give away 5-10 frees

I am bloody fuming.

Edwards can't hit a target at the moment to save his life. Sorry, I forgot about his golden ticket.

Burton kicked 1.6 practically. Of course he is starting on the ground.

Walker? The best natural forward on our list who is being played horribly out of position. Yeah drop him.
