Id say Bolts is in to pump up his trade value..Dont like having Heff, Pev and JJ in the same team. Would rather one was dropped and a kid was given a go..
He isn't good enough to trade, if a team wants him, they'll just wait until he is delisted and then they'll pick him up in one of the drafts (but i doubt anyone would want him anyways).

I don't think Pev, Heff and JJ in the 1 team is that bad, we're going to need our taggers this weekend against the Hawks (especially with Slattery out) because the Hawks have a got a veryy good midfield i think. Pev can hold his man whilst getting alot of the ball, and Heff will tag (#1 tagger for us ATM) and does a pretty good job, and as for JJ, he'll get out clearances and win alot of the ball. We can always drop Bolton or Johns for a young kid, was the young kid you were wanting in the team Houli by any chance?

Some good inclusions this week to our side, we need to play 4 quarters of quality football.
Looking forward to seeing JJ back for a bit more toughness in the middle.

Not a huge fan of having 2 talls on the interchange. Bolton/Johns or maybe even both should be ommited, So that either 1 or 2 of our emergencies can come into the team, Houli should definately come into the team, whilst maybe 1 of Jobe or Lonergan could come into the team.

To tell you the truth, I can't see Bolts playing as a tall unless Ryder is forced into spenidng extensive time in the ruck. Bolts will most likely play a run-with role on a not overly quick flanker/midfielder like last week on Swan. Who that it is is tough to say, if Hodge plays his half-back role it could well be him.

For me if there's a late change, it has to be Jobe coming into the side. There's nothing like being dropped to fire you up and this is the perfect oppurtunity for Jobe to come in and show us what he's got. I remember an incident with Cupido in 2004, when he was good, when he was dropped before a game against Geelong. He was a late inclusion and came in and kicked 5 goals. Whilst Jobe wouldn't be expected to kick 5 goals, he could come in a play a really good game for us in the midfield. That's hoping.

As for Houli and Lonergan, I'm not so sure about them quite yet. Houli has great fitness and ball-winnign ability but his decision making, even in the VFL, has not been wonderful. We could bring him in and somewhat nurse him through or we could wait till he's more ready or till we have to because of injuries. I know which one I would prefer.

With Lonergan, wanting his inclusion goes against what a lot of you have been saying. Lonergan lacks a yard of pace so why should he be prefered to a guy like Peverill who is playing extremely well. Where is the rationale in that? Whilst I think Lonergan has some potential, the guy was nearly delisted at the end of last year for his lack of leg speed. I hate to say it but I think Lonergan may be the bloke that's a star in the VFL but struggles with the pace of AFL. All the same, I hope he proves me wrong.

Dyson is a little soft so these conditions won't suit him.

I'd give Houli or Lonergan a run over Dyson as they put their head over the ball.
This is the reason why you'd consider taking dydon out, we'd just change him for another midfielder who puts their head over ball, Dyson is a running player, and in the wet he won't be as effective IMO.
