Good to see Fish back:thumbsu:

Pretty annoyed to see Russ in there after an apparently unimpressive VFL performance.

JR was serviceable for the Ants, not the best, not the worst....they might have a run-with role in mind for him. God knows we need some defensive pressure across our HF line to stop teams running the ball out so easily.

In: Russell, Fisher, Hampson
Out: Hartlett (susp), Jackson, Grigg

Seems to be less run in that side than last week. I know Russell runs but he doesn't get the ball like Jackson and Grigg can match him for run.

Grigg, Pfeiffer and Saddington the emergencies, tall bench, expect Grigg or Pfeiffer to come in for Edwards, Bannister or Setanta late.

Beat me to it:D

Very disappointed that Jackson is out.

Get very little game time last week and is probably one of the only players on our list capable of true gut-busting running. I think he's a very good player and deserves a spot.

Russell?

OMG WTF Russell ....... AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

agreed. i don't know what Grigg did to get dropped. they should name O'Hailphin at full back just to make the backline look a little stronger b/c it looks horrible on paper. I know he will probably start there but just name him so we will all feel a bit better about the look of the backline. Saddington should player also. He's not an elite player but we need the mature bodies down back if we are serious about winning game snow. Why is Simpson lined up in the back pocket? sheeesh

Surely after the impressive game that Jackson had against Robert Harvey last year, he deserved to play ahead of JR. Maybe the match committee have earmarked Milne as a match up for Russel?

Saints dropped Gardiner and JOnes, so You'd think we could afford one less tall on the bench.

I doubt that they will line up that way;)

I would have thought after last weeks effort Russell was being brought in to play that role he played across the half forward line he played once Rats took over last year. Can't say I'm happy with him coming in but, nor am I happy with Jackson being dropped. This should be Russell's last chance for mine. Don't like Griig being dropped, we need to develop a solid back six and he is part of that.
