People also need to take another look at Blackwell in the forward line. He has an amazing goal sense, and is an excellent kick. Worth remembering.

Kennedy is far more suited to the CHF role. I would swap him and Waite around, and replace Houlihan with Gibbs. Fisher in there for Wiggins as well. Then swap Fisher and Waite

Best spot for Waite is on the wing where he can use his pace and bulk to run off his man and create some presure on the opposing backmen with long runs and goals

All you have done is list a whole lot of talls. Gibbs, is not going to be a permanent forward, and grigg isnt even worth mentioning yet sorry, as keen as you are, have SOME perspective. Kouta is not a marking leading forward, he can play there, but this is NOT his position, hwats more him and lappin are gone after 07, leaving us right back where we started.

If you actually read what I posted, I said they are all players who CAN play in the forward line, regardless of whether that is their preferred position or not.

Betts is a crumber and not really part of the problem, a role we have a zillion guys for.

Who are the other players IYO that can play a crumbing forward role?

Also, do you honestly think our forward line has a good enough game plan at present? I personally believe we have a whole bunch of players standing in their position but don't know the right spots to lead to and get in eachothers way, hence why I suggested we need strategies implemented. Betts is one of the main offenders and therefore is part of the problem, IMO.

We need another crumbing forward, perhaps Blackwell could be trialled futher there this year. Our talls are fine with Kennedy, Fevola and Lance should play forward as a second CHF with Kennedy. Waite should move to CHB as he doesn't kick enough goals. The days of the resting ruckman in the forward line are numbered but I like the prospect of other crumbers rotating like Gibbs, Murph, Houla etc. It would be nice if Fish could kick 1-2 goals a game paying an O'Keefe role.

To be honest I think we actually need our mids to kick a few more goals to take the pressure off our forwards

Due to us being under the pump so much our failings in other parts of the field made playing up forward pretty tough The fact that Fev was our go to man also made it tough especially for our other marking forwards to make an impact.

If they can stay fit I think we have the talent there, but the next couple of seasons will really be key as to which players will be members of our future premiership team Still a few years off yet, but the foundations are there Lets hope our coaching staff do the job in developing them.

^^^^^ Good point that, with the talls of Fev, Waite, Fisher, Kennedy and Wiggins rotating through the forward line, hopefully Fev wont be reiled upon all the time to kick a bag for us to win.
