Doing my head in atm...

Hansen... YES!!!

Cojo... Likes Hawthorn.. i like it.

Thompson... won't and shouldn't play.

Obst.. Don't know a thing about him but looking forward to seeing him again, Laidley is clearly a fan.

Shagger... I hope his time on the side has been well spent.

Watt... F________________

Watt has very good form against the Hawks and is better than Hunter at leaving his man and helping out. I have been a Watt basher, but I have no problem with this inclusion at all. Especially with the run Pratt and Urquhart have been giving out of defence.

I really like these changes.

FB: Firrito--Watt--Urquhart
HB: Gibson--Hansen--Pratt
C: Riggio--Simpson--Wells
HF: Thomas--Petrie--Jones
FF: Harvey--N.Thomspon--Campbell
R: Hale--Harris--Rawlings
I: Lower--Grant--Harding--Obst

E: Grima--Jo.Smith--McMahon
Poor old Scott Thompson.

And lucky Shannon Watt.

Glad to see the back of Power and Davies.

Brown not even a emergency. Interesting.

Grant and Jones are good ins.

Naming Nathan Thompson is idiotic.

Obst in. Is he right?

I hope Hansen can be played in the backline. Give him a job I say.

McMahon for mine to come in for Thommo.

plenty of options down back and up forward. Good team. Don't kill me but i think we missed Watt last week just as another experienced body to have down back. Its a real shame Scott Thompson missed though - but Laids sometimes uses the reserves as a bt of rest stop ala Corey Jones last week - so I'm hoping he won't be left out of the team for too long. If either Mcmahon or Grima play will be very happy with the team.

I hear pharro has lodged a protest with the selection committee over the selection of hansen without having played the requisite 7 weeks of 'good' form prior to elevation.

Why would I need to lodge a protest when I was the one sitting in the room advising Dean? Ridiculous, truly ridiculous.

We're killing ourselves playing Drew as back up ruck.

Not so much with Grant, Jones and Obst in the team (and Hansen).

Drew does have an impact when he goes into the ruck - mainly because he is free to work around the ground. His ability to keep running this year is amazing.

It'll get heard just as soon as they've finished wading through the letters you've sent them about Moran.

(I think they're only just done with Perry . . .;))

I still like Drew in a position, at either end.

There seems to have been a lot of doctors involved in that exploratory arthroscope on N. Thompson and they all post on this site. As for everyone else, not sure where you get your info that he is not good to go.

The Watt haters are back again. After the pathetic dribble posted here a few weeks ago about him and the grave dancing, lets not go back there. Decent player - we need him in the backline this week.
I reckon Watt's career is drawing to a close, and for what I rate to be a negligable loss in performance at worst, we can get games into a young backman in Thompson instead.

I've defended Watt's selection in the past, but I'd sooner we have Thompson play on Hawthorn's seventh tall, than Watt. Thompson's not going to hurt us anymore, and has upside.

I'm no Watt hater, but there's a point where he has to be shuffled out. I think we're at that point.

Didn't scottywiper and spurs get it from Laidley?

Inner sanctum.

Since Watt has been out we have been murdered by tall forwards. fact.

Happy with all of those changes, especially Smith & Brown out...just too damn slow especially against a team such as Hawthorn, we need to out run them.

Go Lachie!!!!:thumbsu:

And Shagga & Corey listen up! We need a huge game out of you guys!!
