My boyfriend is American, but he's not all arrogant or anything, in fact he would much prefer to be an Aussie. Someday he will be. ANYWAY, I haven't been round these boards for long, so thought I would stop by and introduce myself.

I'm 23, live in the Inner Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, live in a family of mad Bomber fans (never really got into them, ended up choosing to follow Fitzroy when I was about 11, and have been a devoted lioness (roys and brisbane lions girl) ever since. I work in Child Care, love it to bits, I am currently 'dating' a guy I met on the internet (the above-mentioned American hehehe) and we are very serious, he is moving here as soon as damn possible, lol. Ummm love 60s music, NO ONE LAUGH, but I love the Beach Boys and am not ashamed to admit it!!!!!!!!!

Hehehehe. My fave player is Chris Scott (hence the 22 in my ID, ha) used to be Steven Lawrence but *sigh* you Saints fans get to enjoy him now!!!!!!! Ummm I'm pretty average really.

Well my name is Paul,live in Kalgoolie/boulder work as a instrument tech on a huge mine site,love brewing my own beer and i feel i should say this i used to support the bombers until the eagles come along ,figured no good supporting a team i would probaly never get to see play live best choice i ever made.i like to referr to my age as a 'sixties love child' just.have a 3 year boy who is to cute for his own good and another ray of sunshine on the way{march}.My partner of 6 years in very understanding when i get all cranky when the eagles loose,leaves me alone to sulk in my shed with a couple of home brews of course.i am a mad ford man,love the bush it is so quite and peacefull until the craking sound of my shotgun rings thru the tree's na only joking love a laugh and live . cheers

Sorry to interrupt your patroism, but Australia isn't a patch on America. They had a cool president in Bill Clinton, we have bloody Johnny Howard (but hey, at least he's better than Kim 'the blimp' Beazley) our national soccer and basketball leagues are a disgrace (maybe the Victoria Titans, Wollongong Hawks and Adealde 36ers are the only decent teams in it), there is nothing much to recommended about Adealide and Perth, Tassie is just a hole, and well, i'd rather live in Boston MA anyday than Melbourne. Forget AFL i would rather go to the Fleet Center and watch the Boston Celtics take on the LA Lakers in an old style battle royale. Even the Blues/Bombers rivarly isn't as hated and passionate as the mighty Celtics/LA scumbags rivarly.
