Re knoble, Bentleigh there is a common theme running through all the posts about knoble about his skill, or lack there of in some cases..don't you think then there may be some merit in it? taking out the fact that you hate st kilda there are criticisms that come up again and again about him?

There is a similar topic discussed on a melbourne board and they even wrote the same criticisms about him...perhaps they are valid? although it is obvious some are just bitter about it.

I infact live in the area and attend the odd training session (my mate is couple doors down). I assume I go to more Saints training than 95% of you...

And, to get him, a AFL standard ruckman of 24 yoa for 150 odd grand is a good get for the club.

Indeed he will be of benefit to your club, i think we just got the impression on here that you were building him up as some kind of jeff white, which he is by no means!

I would have loved him to stay, and i'm not one who is bitter at him leaving i think trent is different to a lot of players in that he didn't grow up with the game and he basically plays it coz of his size, not like a lot of kids who grew up playing and would play for anything. So I think he needs to get what he can out of the game whilst he can, he's got a family to feed and i dont' think he's got some kind of occupation set up outside of footy so he needs to make his money now (rant over!).

I'm also not bitter he left because in reality he wasn't worth as much to us as he may have wanted, mainly due to all our guys we need to make sure we keep.

He won't be a star, but he'll have a go, but will he get much game time?? with stafford, how long has he left? and simmonds who said he came because he wanted to play more time in the ruck?
