Toast Thanks Preview Writers

As the season's end approaches, I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all the people who gave up their time to write the weekly match previews this year.

Every year, we produce quality previews which surpass anything on offer from other boards, websites or even the mainstream media. We are blessed with the depth of talent we have. This year it was fantastic to see some new faces writing previews, showing that this board is constantly growing and improving.

As someone who reads any old crap as long as it is about our club, the previews are a breath of fresh air for me with their accuracy, insightfulness and, quite often, humour.

I'd particularly like to thank blynd_freddie for taking on the coordination of the preview roster. BF, you have made the weekly previews a breeze for me and I appreciate your hard work in chasing/reminding the preview writers - it has gone off without a hitch.

Geez - one word phising and you're hooked in 23 minutes... the best I can currently offer is round 1 NAB Cup - [I do understand this may only demand an Old Tawny Port - hmmm... looks like you are asking for the keys to the pre-sale, pre-sale list... Shhhh done ]

great work all, has been a great read. Every week I go over to other boards somehow expecting something similar but leave disappointed. Fantastic effort by all (except that humourless bloke who did the hawks game)

I rarely read any AFL.com previews or anything from Hammo's trolling mail any more, much better work is done on here. Thanks to everyone for the previews Sounds like there may be some competition for spots next year but that shouldn't be a problem with the extra games we will be playing in September

I'd say next to the Melbourne board (@Wonaeamirri33 does a fantastic job there) we have the equal best previews on the AFL site. Great work to everyone this year, and I'm happy I was wrong in my Adelaide preview .

Well done to the preview writers, really appreciate the work that goes in, makes this forum the best going round.

I'm honest enough to admit I'm not ready yet to do a preview myself but come say 2014 season I'd love the chance to contribute.

I reckon if Duritz can post say 1000+ times without a red card between now and then - the 'come-back kid' may be in contention... with a couple of others but do we really owe him 'one'? After all he did sub himself this year.

I managed to hold the Sydney slot for a few years by virtue of no one else wanting to watch Sydney. Maybe pick whoever Lyon coaches in a given year...
