while the umpiring was absolutely putrid and probably the worst all year in any of our games, it was our fault we lost. Doesn't matter if you are playing the biggest rabble in the league, if you don't take your chances going forward and as professional footballers cant kick truly when having set shots, you will get done.

I thought we had a crack and were really good to come back twice against an equally putrid crowd (who thanks to ch7 we got to see every 5 seconds. - cant wait till next season = no ch7 at ALL ). Our finishing was just shit, which used to be our saving grace in past seasons - the only thing that stopped is getting belted every week. We used to not be able to get it inside 50, but when we did we would score. Now we get it in there enough and cant score when we do! Game should have been over at qtr time or close to it anyway. Would have shut the crowd up and Port would have folded if we were 5.2 instead of 2.5

Would have been a great day for Scully to turn up, pretend he was with us only to give away 50 free kicks in the first quarter, tear his jumper off to reveal a GWS shirt underneath then kick Trengove in the plums and walk off with Sheedy while the Million Dollar Man theme song plays.
