Watson is a testament to all the blokes out there who were not naturally blessed to be good enough to play AFL footy but worked their ass off to stay at the level and then become one of the best players in the comp.


Am happy he won it.

Bruce still very professional - his preparation for the interview must have been really thorough - knew so much more than just superficial fluff about Watson. He must have done background on all the favourites ( he wouldn't be tipped off would he?)
Pity more of the flogs who pass themselves off as footy experts don't do similar research.

Apart from the great showing by Thommo and Danger, my favourite part of the evening was when they did a piece showing all the coaches going off at various time during the year.

Every time they showed Sando he was smiling and/or applauding. Loved it

Well done Jobe! My prediction was not far off had winning with 1 vote more and Mitchell 3rd with 2 more votes. Dangerfield just did not get expected votes early. Clearly suffering from the old adage that you need to have one good season first before the umpires begin to notice you, like he did towards the end of the season.
