Poor value especially without Suckling, Young and Rioli.

I might have to get down the TAB. Hawks couldn't win then, how the hell will they win now?
The Hawks bottom 6 players is their weakness.

My tip for Essendon/Geelong may change before first bounce. Gut says the Bombers, head says the Cats (although part of that may be wishful thinking).

I'm not so sure with Richmond/Port. With Cotchin out, Hinkley will be licking his lips. Deledio dies whenever he's tagged, and Cornes will make sure of that most likely. That pretty well leaves Martin and Conca to hold up the midfield and I'm not sure they're up to that yet. I'd take Boak/Ebert/Cornes/Wines over Conca/Martin/Tuck/Grigg.
Well shit, if Conca can hold up the midfield with a broken foot I think we have an absolute star on our hands.

Also Foley is playing, heavily underrated player, he won't be back to his best, ever probably, but will help the midfield.

No idea why I said Conca. I meant Jackson.

He's a capable player, not denying that, but I just think Port have a better quality midfield overall until Martin can play the whole game in the middle, Deledio learns to handle a tag and Cotchin is back.

Says the naive expert with a lack of any realism.

Apologies, realism is now believing that there is some sort of alien collusion in fixing AFL results through umpire mind control.. Freaky.

You are a nong.

Realism is knowing you're drug cheats, yet letting passion pass through your judgement.

Essendon is getting chopped up by a first gamer. I'd never even heard of Thurlow until today.
You will soon enough.

I was estatic when Wells pulled another gem.

PS: I now know how Jobe won a Brownlow, FMD.

Not once have I made any statement anything like that, I merely said that it had never been admitted..

Speaking of cheating.

I never realised how much Geelong players dived until tonight.

Bloody good side those Cats though

Was gonna say, I said the exact same. I must be a such a closet Essendon fan I don't even know it myself. :D

Glad the Cats got up but they really shouldn't have. Bombers had every chance.
It's about taking your chance, rather than having them.

I don't think Essendon's kicking at goal was as bad as it's being made out but they had more shots from outside 35 than Geelong did and scored half as much. Credit to Geelong for the defensive work in applying the pressure necessary and turning it right around and goaling themselves.

Oh yeah definitely, I'm not denying that. I'm just saying that with the sheer amount of KPIs Essendon won, it really shouldn't have been as easy as it looked for the Cats towards the end. The Cats are probably the most efficient team in the comp and the Bombers didn't take their chances when they should've.

Can't disagree with that.

Damn it, why can't my side be even semi-decent... :(

The thing is, they did admit it, then tried to backtrack.

How can you trust the club when Thompson and Hird lied the whole way through 2010. (fact. I worked with the Essendon head trainer at the time)

We put our heads over the ball, receive the free kicks.

I must admit, post rd 2 we've had the rub of the green from the umpires, although they've been average across the board.

Stop changing the rules.

How much for Geelong for the minor premiership? They are not losing until atleast round 14 with the run of games that they have.

I had a grand on them at $11.50 to win the flag at the start of the season, as well as a $250 bet with my mate for the top 4.

Essendon just didn't have the fitness.

10 minutes out from half time and they dropped right off and never got back.

They were close enough though, they tried to slack right off last week to save themselves but the Giants were having none of it. That 2nd half effort last week took it's toll.

Now to wait for IMS to tell me how wrong I am without any supporting evidence.

Leigh Matthews is a tool. He has no comprehension of the application of the rules. Every ****ing Friday night he talks about another rule, interprets it incorrectly and gives people who complain about the umpires and interpretations an out by saying "look, even Matthews doesn't understand the rules." It's a cop out, he's just an idiot.

Looking forward to MD saying this week "I'm not very confident, I think we'll lose". :)

I wouldn't be surprised if we got belted, then again the week after.

It also wouldn't surprise me if Gold Coast and GWS defeat us either.
