EDDIE Betts has accepted a four-year deal to join Adelaide. The Carlton goalsneak had attracted strong interest from the Crows and North Melbourne as a restricted free agent. The Herald Sun first reported the Blues weren't prepared to meet Betts' asking price and although sad to see him go, weren't going to compromise their pay structure. The Crows deal is worth at least $2 million over four years. The Blues were notified this morning of Betts' intention to explore his options as a free agent.

Don't mind Savage, but where would we play him? He's in front of Neade, but behind Monfries, Wingard, Gray. Unless we can get him super cheap, there's probably no point.
Not keen on Everitt either, he's just one of those guys who happens to be tall and reasonably athletic so clubs keep trying to turn him into a KPP. O'Shea has him covered in defence, and I wouldn't want him as a target up forward.
