When England won the Ashes back in 2006 it was pretty much an England & NZ combo with the quick crook finger of Billy Bowden.
England tied (and then won on count back) a World Cup final New Zealand should've won if the umpires counted the runs correctly on the last ball.

If that was India that'd lost that game serious shite would've gone down.

IMO that World Cup should be stripped and given to New Zealand. Not much different to Freo's sirengate situation IMO.

England celebrated it like they won it fair and square though. Tbf that and the occasional Ashes win is all that pitiful excuse for a cricket team can ever celebrate.

Third in the queue at best I reckon.

Hasn't done enough to get ahead of two guys that have performed reasonably well at international level when given the opportunity.
His shield form is significantly better than the other two. Should be a walk up start for the MCG based on his last two seasons of shield cricket.

Rocc on!

I'd be pretty surprised if they went Kuhnneman tbh

Just had to raise his name initially as he bowled well in Sri Lanka, he seems to be a classic Asian conditions only type of player
Kuhnemann (LH orthodox) is a perfect second spinner paired with Lyon/Murphy/Rocchiccioli (all RH off-spinners) since he spins it the other way.

I don't think he's the frontline spinner of choice.

This English cricket side would have to be the most overrated Test team in recent memory.

They lose more than they win and somehow they apparently have a this amazing side.

Australia A would roll this mob.

I’d think Richardson is a guaranteed inclusion.

Imagine there’d be a lot of chat about going four quicks with Neser too given it’s primarily been the Vic quicks doing the damage in Shield cricket. But expect they’ll go with Murphy to give the quicks more of a spell.

My impression staying there last year was the population was largely male up of wealthy middle eastern businessmen.
The sort who leave a driver snoozing in some huge black SUV style limo 24/7 outside their private home and take their families to the limo lane outside Harrods to be escorted in for private shopping trips away from the riff raff.

Does anyone know if Richardson’s shoulder surgery has enabled him to throw when in the field?
His bowling is highly rated around the country. He would make an excellent opening partner for Starke, having a bit more zip than Neser.
