i mean we're playing all our young kpd's other than mcasey who is becoming a forward. i dont really know how it gets done as i assume our top pick is off the table. even before the dawson business i thought we were going to split the pick to get both roberts and draper, but idk anymore. it's hard to follow these deals in a sense because so much is going on with everyone at the same time

How many young TALL players break into a 3-time premiership team which has barely lost any players in that time? He got his opportunities this year, and then when needed to carry on in the latter part of the year he did his calf and missed games.

edit: any stats on how many times he was listed as an emergency?

PS. We lost Higgins and Butler because they couldn’t get a game in that time too. Can’t play them all. He was behind Balta in the beginning…nothing wrong with that.

We won the VFL premiership and finished runner up another year in this time too.

We’ve had a similar issue for quite a while. Hard balancing act to juggle aiming for top 4 consistently and blooding youth.

Umm I thought it would be obvious, they are are an adult but scared of even the dark like a child, a cowardly player. It's been around as a saying forever.

The best variation I've heard on it was Martin Pike saying iirc that the Wakelin twins would sleep in a set of bunk beds with the lights on, again I guess the joke being that only little kids generally sleep in them.
