Last 2 weeks feels like it

Two best teams this year by far (Bulldogs finished 5th after being 9-1 this year and falling away from 1st to 5th in the final 3 rounds, IMO still better than everyone else not named Melbourne). Hopefully it’s a close game.

So cool.

Been a very underwhelming finals series so far so am hoping for a decent game at least. Go Doggies.

Average winning margin of 39.5 points in this finals series, that includes two Prelim finals that ended in 83 and 75 points thumpings. Also includes two matches that ended in 1 point results.

Didn't realise the WBD President is the local head of Disney. Never understand how those people operate multiple jobs.

Presidents/chairmen are not day to day jobs. Essentially just a monthly board meeting.

Pretty much everyone on the board bar the CEO is on multiple boards these days.

Didn’t realise the average margin was that high, the prelims were huge blowouts which is great for the fans of those clubs however not great for neutrals. Am hoping for a much better contest tonight.

Yeah for sure I know that people do it, but I just don't get how they have the time to focus on more than one job at that level when they'd be managing so many different facets. I get as President of the Dogs she doesn't have much day to day involvement, so I suppose it was a bad example to use for the question, I was more thinking as you mention in your second sentence, people on multiple boards. For example Steve Jobs being on Disney's board + Apple.

Genuinely don’t have a preference who wins today, just hope it’s a cracker of a game. Incredibly lucky to have gotten tickets and am that keen for bounce down

I'm going for the Dogs purely for the fact that before the season I was talking with a family friend about who is in with a shot at winning the flag. I said Bulldogs and he scoffed and said no chance they get close. I want to be able to go up to him and laugh right in his face.

Gee North are going to have an absolute ripping young lad on their books next season.

Nick Daicos is good too, but Horne-Francis is clearly the standoutnnumber 1 player of this draft, and I don't think North should bother bidding on Daicos

Exciting times ahead for North

I will wait until an official nomination. That is more an opinion piece.

Herald Sun running with it too (behind a paywall)

It's a done deal. Trust me.
