The best "The"

Apparently having "the" before your name is in these days. I mean have a look at the growing number of bands that have adopted the "the before your name theory" (the strokes, the vines, the hives, the white stripes etc).

The "TBYN theory" has spread to bigfooty now with a growing number of posters adopting the in their names.

So I have decided to put a poll where bigfooty poster will be finally able to decide who is the best "the" on bigfooty.

My vote goes to the guy who started the craze, "The Hitman".

Matt Johnson is a great songwriter. Although The The aren't one of my favourite bands, his lyrics on 'Heartland', 'Angels of Deception', and 'Out of the Blue' are top notch.

Agreed. Looking in the members section, it seems The Abuser started the craze.
