This gets pretty heated in my household.

Do you put your tomato sauce in the pantry or the fridge???

I grew up putting in the pantry. When I moved in with the missus she put in the fridge. It swaps around depending on whoever used it last.

i'm a pantry person. for bbq sauce. don't like tomato sauce.

i'm back home in sdney for the week and have just been reunited with old man's whacky practice of putting lollies in the freezer... the dentist loves that one.

Fridge. But I think that's just a habit I picked up from my parents. Once my grandma was staying with us in Melbourne and put the vegimite in the fridge, which I thought was nuts. Dad then explained why this was actually very practical if you lived in Qld.

Don't know about that. If you have a burning hot pie, some freezing cold sauce brings it to a nice hot temperature.

My missus put the peanut butter in the fridge the other week, I lost my shit as it was all I had to eat, needed to get grocerys.

OK so those who put sauce in the fridge think those who put sauce in the pantry are mental and vice versa.

Neither are the wrong option. Some like their sauce cold, others like it warm. That's it.

Red wine is the same. It's a myth that it's not meant to be refrigerated. In fact when I did my bar course I was told it should be refrigerated.
