Another source said that the red card offence wasnt checked. I cant see any VAR official not referring that challenge/assault on for review.

So Man Utd can be awarded a penalty after the final whistle, but a red card can't be issued for an obvious and blatant attempt to severely injure an opponent.

VAR can ask the referee to review the footage for a possible red card offence. FA are going to release a statement on this one, you cant have keepers deliberately injuring opponents and getting away with it.
Hes also done it to Delle Alli before albeit not quite so blatantly.

I think it's Gomez and Matips health we gotta worry about. Both are injury prone, VVD is usually the rock.
