Both UCL games this morning going against the English teams in the first half. Plenty to keep these teams minds occupied…

Both games ended all square. Foden copped a rake of studs down his Achilles and Saka hung a leg at the end of his game trying to win a pen, and was staying down after the whistle, but both should be right. In the end both teams can’t switch off for their return legs…so may need to play full strength again

Yeah draws in both legs probably a good result. Now hopefully we crush Atalanta 7-0 so we can trot out the kids for the second leg.

Right now we gotta lock in a new 5 year deal for Trent, 3 year deal for Mo (with an option to sell after the 2026 WC if both parties are happy) and a 2 year extension for VVD.

I'm sure Edwards isn't worrying too much about a Diaz extension atm.

Yeah Im hoping they both go through, then play a huge tow legged pressure Semi Final, go extra time and pens. Then whoever wins loses in the final. That's the dream haha

Just watched live training. All of Bajcetic, Trent and Jota fully involved. Did see Alisson but it was focusing on the outfield players so he may have been training with the keepers.

Klopp says Bajcetic might play U21s football first before being picked in the squad.

He's not made a decision on Alisson, Trent and Jota being in the squad tomorrow yet.

Getting all three back will be huge for the run in.

Baj as well could be a great option for us but I dont know where he is now in the pecking order of midfield and it will be hard for him to establish himself in a team going for two trophies late in the season.

For me, even with all the success and talk around fantastic young players like Quansah, Clark, Danns, McConnell, Doak and Bradley... Baj is the jewel in the crown. We gotta get him back involved.

Started ok and got worse and worse as the half went on and surrounded by two world class saves, Kelleher makes a bit of a shocker and lets one in he shouldnt have.

Need to sort this out in the second half.

Conceded first like 20 times this season. The tempo is nowhere near up to standard. Completely arrogant thinking you can just walk the ball into the net with little effort.
