The modern extensions on the back of the old houses do look crap in those photos, I agree. I find at this point of the show, the steel frames at the back of the houses just seem over the top in size. But I assume these have been designed based on what is being done in that area and for the super-rich tree changers, not your average Joe.

Looking at the photos without watching much of the show they can be quite deceiving. With out landscaping done and being pretty blurry they were never going to look good. They may turn out to be pretty nice.

I thought house 4 had the best guest bedroom for the night. House 5 had the worst. Again, I find the designs a bit ho-hum so far. But I expect that will continue while we're in the old houses. Modern country design is so boring. Hopefully, we'll start to see some good design work in the pavilions. One of the reasons for watching this show is to see the latest design trends and products, and we aren't getting that at the moment.

Have to agree with the judges tonight that H5 was the best realized but not perfect. The worst for me was Ankur's and Sharon's, which was just way too busy with all those different tiles, wallpaper, and features. The bath in H1 was so small, and the judges didn't even notice. Only kids could use it.

Ankur & Sharon break the rules during a challenge. The couple is believed to have googled the recipe of a wine during a taste-testing challenge. It is a storm in a teacup.

A challenge we haven’t seen yet?
Those 2 interior designers that have their own business won’t be too popular after this show. Doesn’t help when their bathrooms are all beige. They’re meant to know their craft yet even they were on Instagram and Pinterest yesterday looking for a design for their master bedroom. Basically all this show has become, find a design off the internet and make sure you finish it on time.
