And a bit f*** dodgy on the part of Ch9, They would know well ahead of time that work like that would need to be conducted. All of a sudden there is this "shock surprise". Just be upfront about it so that whoever gets the house(s) affected can adequately plan and budget for it (to the extent possible).

They should also allow them (if they choose to) to get extra labour in to work ahead and get the rest of the house done.

I think they did say they could work ahead to get the house re-stumped. Shit that the show isn't paying for it though.
