Yep just build 2 basic rooms with custom robes and who cares about the judges. You want to try and sell the place. What if the buyer has older kids? Those rock climbing things are stupid and the swing? Jesus.
It would be a good week for Marty Fox to be the judge.

Honestly, a couple of simple guest rooms and style it to a kids room would do the trick. Don't do anything that's hard to change.

Tapped out of this ep, boring and just rehashing s**t.

Doubt tomorrow's will be much better.
No idea what could be on tomorrow besides the walk arounds.

I'm interested in these curved walls and how they go long term. I'd actually like to see more about how they fastened it to the wall. Look like a crap load of potential energy in that ply wood that they were installing.

Exactly.

As I said a couple of weeks ago, just once I'd love someone aim their house as wealthy childless people - yoga room, a steam room, a spa, a home gym, a bar. I don't need 14 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, give me the housing equivalent of toys.
Yeah, I mean these rooms up stairs, make them bedrooms then maybe look at the studio like H1 and make one of thenrooms a home gym, they sort of did that but that second spare could have been a full man cave / bar.

Actually they could have done one of those rooms as a spare room.

I thought the girls ensuite was better than H3. Earlier comment regarding that there isn't a need to a wall of tiles, but the finger tile splashback came across like a couple whose budget is tight, which I appreciate it is. It felt no different to the ensuite in my sub $1m house, not something you'd expect in a pushing $3m luxury home. Just my opinion, though!

I also didn't think H4s was as bad as they made it out to be, some valid comments regarding its execution but overall the feedback was unnecessarily savage. That Marty guy is a flog and they'll do well to ensure that he isn't there next year.

Yeah the girls ensuite was easily better than H3.

If I were doing these rooms, I wouldn't make the bones of the room "kids" as in doing things like rock walls or putting up kiddie wallpaper, etc. But you make it a kid's room with your furnishings and decorations. That way, if the buyer doesn't want to have kids' rooms, they can change the furnishings, and voila. I think this is what Steph & Gian tried and failed to do in the challenge room they've been lambasted for this week.

100% agree.

Yeah, I'd be going against "the brief" for this week, as this room is all about the target purchaser, not about the irrelevant point scoring from 3 judges that will be forgotten about the second the auction starts.
