diesel would say him naturally, sos would trade for 2 extra votes from justin reid and then vote for himself and diesel - as soon as I get out of this mental health facility jeremias has so happily forced me into I shall contemplate my own vote........hope this vanity unit fits through this security window.........

Diesel the GOAT by hand, though the oldies might say Polly Farmer. Sorry SOS, Diesel for mine.
Polly Farmer was the greatest, until he came up against Big Nick. Then he was only second best.

Not only 2 Carlton all time greats here,
2 AFL all time greats !!
Only ever seen Silvagni beaten twice.
Once by Lockett, then by Cain & the gang.
Here we bid SOS farewell.
History will judge him in the absolute top handful of Blues ever ... well played.

Williams to face Doull ...
II v 11

I voted SOS over Wayne Johnston.
I would vote SOS over Kouta.
I would vote SOS over Sticks.

But i can't vote SOS over Greg Williams. Williams was the ultimate offensive weapon. He would set the whole match up with his relentless possession and unparalleled effective disposal. Pendlebury and Sam Mitchell are champions in their own right but are Bali knockoff Rolex's compared to Diesel.

Diesel, as well as the bloke waiting in the final to meet the winner of this match have had the best footy brains i've ever seen.

Stop dribbling, 1 or 2?
2 for me.

Knights did kick 9 on him. Wallsy thought it was a good lesson - he was right.

Williams was one the best midfielders of all time. But if we’re talking about Carltons greatest do we judge him on the 109 games he played for Carlton or the 250 AFL games he played.

SOS the AFLs full back of the century played his 312 games for the mighty blues.

Both fantastic players, but on their contributions to Carlton in terms of games and achievements......the winner is SOS imho.

Okay so what happens now do we play extra time or come back next week for a replay?

Probably doesn’t matter, gives Bruce some more time to work on his winners speech....should be a beauty.

Actually it was only about 5 directly on SOS in a routing the day after he turned 18yo in his fourth game. SOS was a bit of a high flyer back then and up to the second quarter it was a good aerial duel. SOS took a cracker on the wing.

I'm an unabashed Diesel fan, but I'm going with SOS here. Could play on anyone, although Richo gave him headaches sometimes. Think of the spread of players he pantsed over his career, Lockett, Dunstall, Carey, Ablett, Hird - picking up BOG playing on Hird though the midfield in Hird's Brownlow year.
