This tiny number of members being able to cause so much disruption is exactly why the Board wanted to bring in the 5% threshold before an EGM had to be called. This bloke needs to have a good hard look at himself.

If this goes ahead I hope that they get their arses kicked and that we follow through on the proposed change to 5% of eligible members needing to sign a request to hold an EGM. The whole thing is a charade,

The club doesn't need to bend to them, I very much doubt that they have huge support behind them, if they force an election then it's up to the membership to make sure they stand up to them.
It's just not what the club needs. We aren't going to attract good people with all the in-fighting.

Its not about him getting on the board, they want the whole board gone and a new one voted in by the members. To be clear, Im not one of their boosters, I agree with you that this is the wrong time to be doing it.
I've heard him on radio a few times he has never said that he wouldn't be on the board. The bloke has an ego, and ignores the fact almost every board position has been turned over in the last 5 years. He can get the constitutional changes voted on individually without doing all this crap.

Any of her ire saved for Liddle or Lloyd? She'd know Liddle through the Tigers and sits next to Lloyd's brother. If those guys truly have an anvil over their head waiting to drop, they'd be good candidates.
I can't see the board leaking at this stage. None were forced out.
So either those two or a player but I'm not sure the players have been given the full review findings that aren't all relevant to them.
