I like you Bamboo Harvester but I’m not linking arms at the moment.
Discovered?Re: SOS being lazy
If SOS was lazy then he must have taken a family vacation to Yarrawonga or he picked a random name off the draft board. Otherwise, I have no idea how he could possibly have discovered Finbar O'Dwyer.
1. This is our perception and not one particularly in line with the way others see us. For instance people at Richmond feel they've recruited far better than we have, even for the high picks we've had. i.e. Higgins better than O'Brien....RCD better than Stocker.
Discovered?
Pretty sure he was mates with Ben. Don't think it was much of a stretch to be aware of him.
Was thinking the sameWhat have I walked into … the game is on the 10th kids.
I know I was.Fair enough. To everybody else Finbar was a "Who?"
Something something sun don't shine.that's one way of discussing a black hole...............
May I just say that I'm loving all this....the jousting, the debates, the arguments.....it just shows how passionate we all are to our great club.
And if we ever got to sit with each other at a Woods or * or Hawthorn game, we'd all be arm in arm against the enemy, regardless of the shit-slinging on this forum. That is a not negotiable and a given.
And THAT is the reason why we have such good membership numbers...regardless whether Liddle had an influence on the overall numbers, we all have a choice whether we continue to support our club or not. The record numbers reflect our passion.

first, second & fourth were quality, third was like percy jones coached it..................4 posts in a row from one person.
Unheard of since the D word thread went quiet
Get yourself another 999 monkeys and lock yourself in a room with 1000 typewriters for 1,000,000 years.
I think people are now viewing Cain as a bit of messiah. He is just putting it all together after most of the good work that the club has done with the rebuild. The rebuild is the key. That’s what fans are most excited about. So what you're saying, is that it was so easy to increase Carlton membership, that anyone could do it, but no one in 30 years could do it.
Anyone who shares stories that don't fit the messiah narrative some pedal in regards to SOS are back stabbers and have an agenda, but impartial posters like yourself who seem to be diminishing ones achievement to pump up another, don't have one?
13th, peanut........
Liddle has done nothing extraordinary - he just has done what anyone with any competence could do. There is not one member who bought a membership and not one corporate sponsor who sponsors "Liddleton". At the same time he has populated the Club with his own chosen grubs who so far have managed to knife Bolton and SOS - can't wait till they start knifing each other - grubs.
No need to change my words I've already spelt it out clearly and succinctly. You and everyone else are entitled to whatever opinion you want - mine happens to be different on this matter.
For some strange reason, I can just Imagine John Lennon singing these words in a song about unification.May I just say that I'm loving all this....the jousting, the debates, the arguments.....it just shows how passionate we all are to our great club.
