We either need some of the players we have - LOB, Dow, Stocker, Ramsay, Philp, Setterfield, Cuningham, Kemp, Caroll, Durdin, Williams, Martin, Williamson, SPS - to take the next step, or we need to replace those without AFL capablities in other positions.

Hopefully we can find an A grader out of Kemp, Philp, Stocker or Carroll. I think the AA captain Cripps days are already gone due to his past workload.

The dodgy shit you refer to Make today's AFL bad boys look like choir Boys. the game has been significantly sanitised, however every team needs some wild boys where Mongrel comes naturally. Just need to control them better.

Leigh Mathews was one of the dirtiest players in the game.

Still named player of the century and is on most peoples top 5, if not top 1, lists.

I liked what Sellers had to say and didn't disagree with anything he said. Apart from the players he also spoke about team selection. He said there was no "ïntegrity of selection" and "who have they dropped?". Basically saying that they never drop high profile players only the no-namers. Spot on.

Murphy and Betts need to be dropped this week - no questions asked. Out. If they are named in the team then this club is finished for the season.

If SPS is in the back line - we will be smashed, it means we have not learned, and done nothing. It's not SPS's fault - its just indicative of our failure to make the changes required.

McClure does the same thing every single year no matter what our position is - its literally how I view him - just having a constant bash and a whinge.

Seriously - we finished 11th last year and people expected us to rise to 8th with realistic expectations - and you and mark are blowing up because we did not beat the Home and Away Premiers and the Grand Final winner - seriously ?

Those are your expectations - Carlton has failed because we failed to beat the two best teams in the competition (by a MASSIVE MARGIN) - it really is so far beyond ridiculous its funny.

There is absolutely NO QUESTION who has zero footy knowledge.

There are serious problems right now at Carlton and they are Murphy, Betts getting games when they should not be, and players out of position - SPS is so ridiculous its not funny. Dow's game structure is a travesty as is LOB.

Something is going on in this regard and that is what is destroying the players confidence - I 100% think it is politics at Carlton - like it ALWAYS IS.
