Port Adelaide is considering rushing Chad Cornes back for the home game against the Swans. Cornes has been missing with a broken finger, but with Shaun Burgoyne facing suspension and the Power at three wins and five losses and facing a season-defining game, his presence could be vital.

Cornes trained yesterday wearing a guard over the injured finger and will try to prove his fitness this week.

Desperate times may call for desperate measures at Moorabbin, too. Nick Riewoldt, who was expected to miss several games with injured knee ligaments, has been listed as a "test" this week. The Saints lost to Collingwood last Friday night and face a tough encounter with the Brisbane Lions at the Gabba on Sunday.

Yay another Gun backmen to add to my team in a few rounds for under 380k(if he plays Sydney this week).

Beau Waters to miss 1 more match gopower.
Kennelly probably 1 more aswell.

He was expected to come back this week anyway, but still thank ____ing god. Now I'm up to 5 backman playing this week rather than 4. Beau Waters and Scott Selwood better come in.

I think Waters is still one away..

Woohoo..! All the people that traded Cornes away will now face the consequences..! :)

yea but can he maintain it is the question if he does then he might be an all year keeper but if he decreases over the next few weeks i might bring weaters in

Id rather bring in David Neitz or Matthew Carr than Beau Waters. Feel like shooting myself in the head for picking him up at the start of the year instead of King.

I reckon Beau has OP, have nothing to base it on but past experience.

yea he hasnt had a good start to the year i think he might be injured. or is he struggling because the eagles are struggling who knows but i rekan he can start getting back to his best soon

if he does play my guess is he will play up forward which could be a good thing, they always look for him and will get more tog.
i remember last year when port played carlton chad went forward and just dominated the match. i know playing sydney is different, but we can only hope... :p

Good news (obviously).

Means Taylor can cover for Kennelly until he comes back.

19,000 people got rid of him after the St Kilda game. You'd think that's 38,000 trades wasted.
