Feels good to be a Tiger0, counting the percentage of Carlton making a Grand Final in the next 10-15 years.

Yeah it sort of looks like they're wearing a loose rashie. Bizarre. Not cut or fit like a footy guernsey at all.Nike's long sleeves seemed really baggy today. Would not touch with a 10ft pole if I was a club coming out of jumper sponsorship
especially in comparison to the longsleeves Port were wearing which looked so great!Yeah it sort of looks like they're wearing a loose rashie. Bizarre. Not cut or fit like a footy guernsey at all.
Nike were great in the early 2000s. Looks like we lost them at the right time.
Their shoes are the same. They peddle out the same basic runners every quarter with very little change in structure and design, while every other brand has evolved. They still make a mint though and will always be the number 1 brand sales wise. Wish people weren't such slaves to big name brands though.
I dunno, I just bought a pair of Epic Reacts and they are the best running shoes I've ever worn, having previously worn Kayanos but never delving deep into the more hardcore running brands like Saucony or Mizuno
I definitely agree that Nike have been pushed along hard by Adidas and other companies vying for the same market though. Adidas have exploded in quality over the past 5 years or so.
Haven't tried the Epic Reacts but Nike are generally too narrow for me anyway. Have heard good things from people though to be fair.
Mizuno are definitely one of the best outside of ASICS for stability.
Personally I find Brooks to be by far the best for comfort and aesthetic (controversial but I stand by it).
Surprisingly, despite not being great for anyone with specific mechanical issues, New Balance are the most durable brand in footwear I have come across. Had a pair of Kayanos wear out within 6 months (due to running and work), but have retained a $149.99 pair of NB Vahzee's for nearly 2 years despite also wearing them for work. Depending on the foot you have they offer fantastic value.

Does anyone else feel Nike are getting a relatively free run from criticism due to the big, global name?
On here, no.Does anyone else feel Nike are getting a relatively free run from criticism due to the big, global name?

In general, yes. Everyone's blaming Carlton for this.
Very fair point. Do you think it has something to do with our bargaining power at the moment though? It's not like we can stoop any lower on-field, so would Nike just laugh at us should we refuse to accept whatever they give us?The poor quality of the product (ie iron-on logos) can definitely be blamed on Nike, but thats not what the majority of people notice. Most of the general public are annoyed with the colour/design of the clash jumper. That, IMO, is 100% on Carlton. Nike might have designed it, but surely Carlton have the right to say “no, we’ll get lynched if we wear that”. They’re the ones letting these unpopular designs find their way onto the field, so the buck ultimately stops with them I reckon.

2019 is more of the same
I feel now for the Blues supporters
Yeah, what's been seen in store is more of the sameHave they started being sold in stores yet? I spotted some in Rebel Frankston today (along with the Fang free Hawks guernsey for the first time and North's 150th watermark guernsey) but they look like the 2018 guernseys unless if Nike stooped even lower this year and just put the 2018 guernseys through a photocopier like Porsche do with their 911's
