I found the following post on a Usenet group, I tells the real story behind the tragic death this week on Bill Clinton's dog Buddy
Shocking news today, as the world mourns the death of Bill
Clinton's dog Buddy, under circumstances that could only be
described as "suspicious". Buddy became a controversial
figure during the Monica Lewinsky investigation, when it was
learned that the pooch was a witness to several of the acts
in question. Speaking through his lawyer, Buddy refused to
testify before the grand jury, while maintaining the
innocence of his owner, Bill Clinton. It has been put forth
that Buddy has his own tryst (with a foreign national, a
French poodle), and was being blackmailed into withholding
his testimony.
An investigation by the Secret Service and FBI is underway.
Dan Burton, chairman of the House Government and Reform
Committee, has announced his committee will also launch an
investigation into the suspicious death, saying "It's
obvious the dog knew knew too much, and had to be silenced".
Jokes aside, it was sad to here about Buddy's death, having a dog of my own I dread the day when he'll pass away.
