You said the sun just disappears. I said it quite clearly goes below the horizon and in your theory it should get smaller and smaller as night time comes, but that doesn't happen.

I believe a simulated universe is a 50-60% possibility.
I have provided evidence as to reasons why the universe is a simulation. If you don't like that evidence,like I said,bad luck.

The point isnt about the earth being flat or not. The point is your unacceptance of globally accepted scientific evidence by every single scientist out there. If you are not willing to talk about scientific evidences and base your argument on one of the million probable hypothesis out there, then this is a non-argument

this thread is about science. it is about falsifiable hypotheses, the manipulation of independent variables so as to test those hypotheses, the proving of objective, empirical facts of our existence and the rejection of the same. this thread is about the instruction to young children, with nary a scarce understanding of critical thought, as to the nature of their world. it is about, at large, the modern propensity for grown """adults""" to insist something is correct or otherwise based on nothing more than the information purported to have come from 'scientists' who've never in their life falsified a hypothesis.

time and time again, those in this thread have resorted to petty, embarrassing fallacies which expose their uninformed positions. i hope that the continuation of this thread will progress in a more compelling, scientific vein.

What authority? i studied science at university, the evidences and experiments are for everyone to see, test and verify. We replicated several experiments in a lab for example, for our thesis. I dont believe in anything unless i read a whole host of experiment, peer review papers, independent scientists, researchers etc etc. If you fake an experiment you are going to get caught out sooner or later.

dont when you hate it when you forget to make continents roughly the same size on fake space photos?

None of those photos have been taken from the exact same point. The continents are always in different places and at different angles, the clouds are always in a different pattern. Depending on what time of year it is and Earth's position relative to the sun it could be casting minute shadows that further alter the Earth's appearance and that of its visible continents.

For one satellite to hold and photograph a static position as the Earth revolves while at the same time orbiting around the sun - I think it would be a big ask of current technology.

I'd love to see a video shot of the Earth spinning though. That would be awesome!

Like theory or relavitity that has been validated over time and the applications of it are tremendous as well. These scientists are the ones who invented GPS using the applications of theory (for example). there are many others out there but i put 1 for the sake of discussion. The theory validates gravity and speed at the same time, there are falsifiable statements there as well but none have proven these, so if you are claiming that it is take, you can win nobel, you realise that?
