The stars in the sky are not one system,the stars are in what is known as clusters that form one central body. Each star in a cluster is attracted to one another by what is known as a vector. All the clusters after moving around a common barycentre,this is the same barycentre the sun and moon orbit around.

You asked questions regarding the theory,I was polite enough to answer them.

Do I believe the earth is flat? Yes.
Do I believe the earth is flat in the model presented in the op? Not exactly,but that doesn't mean this model can be discounted,or I disbelieve. I would encourage people to investigate all models and theories with an open mind,with any bias put to the side.
Do I believe the earth is round in the model currently presented? 25-30% chance,which is far to low to discount other possible theories such as this one.

I believe the other planets are out there only when you look and observe them.

I have recently put up a thread in the science forum regarding leading physicists theories that black holes are also flat. There is far greater research being undertaken in this regard and I recommend to check this out also.

To take the picture of Mars it would have to have been observed.it would then appear 'round' to the observer.

The ball believers don't really worry me at all,they certainly don't make me angry and I'm more than happy to share the earths oxygen with them.They're free to believe any unproven theory they wish.
Change is a difficult concept for people in multiple areas in life,I consider it human nature,and nothing to be to concerned about. I certainly wouldn't expect people to stop believing the earth is round immediately.

1. Been done already. I know I said I'd outline it again,but I'll just answer the other questions. Apologies but there has been a bit of discussion already including pictures and further explanations right down to all the components of the atmolayer

2. An eclipse occurs when the shadow object passes between the sun and the moon. The shadow object is a satellite that orbits the sun. The eclipse occurs when the sun,moon and shadow object are in line and the moon crosses in front of the Suns orbital plane at a point known as the node. We never see the shadow object due to the brightness of the sun.

3. This is explained by the observers standing either side of the moon. If on one side it appears right side up,on the other upside down. This is best explained by suspending an arrow horizontally above your head pointing north. If you stand to the south of the arrow it is pointing 'downward' towards the northern horizon. Stand to the north of it,looking back at it,it points upwards above your head to the north.

4&5. This is pretty much the same answer and what people keep going round in circles about. We don't totally know. Same argument could be put forward that we don't know why we have to believe in Gravity,dark matter,dark energy or the Big Bang,or why we are being lied to about that. All this has been discussed previously also. As for how many people or why they would lie? Again not sure,we could speculate but that would be speculation. Threats of severe painful death,mind control drugs or something else could be possible.

It's also possible everything could just be computer chips with a computer code.
The 25-30% chance the earth is round,in the model we are being taught,is also possible.

3. I don't think you even remotely understand this. I'm standing here in Western Australia, the moon is supposedly something like 3000 miles above, I see one part of the moon. Someone in, say, South Africa, should be seeing a different part of the moon because it is not far enough away. The distance between me and the South African fella is further away than the distance between either of us and the moon so we so two different sides of it.

But that is not what actually occurs in reality. We both see the same side of the moon at the same time. That is IMPOSSIBLE in the FE theory.

4. How about actually addressing this question rather than deflecting? How come we can perfectly predict the ISS being in whatever place around the Earth and the precise moment when those models are based on a Round Earth if the Earth is actually flat? You can track this yourself: http://www.isstracker.com/ If the Earth was flat, how possibly does it go from one side to the other and is accurately tracked? You can see it from the ground, this is possible to be seen by anyone.

5. Again, how about answering the question? How many people would need to be keeping the secret because EVERYTHING they do in their line of work relies on a Round Earth rather than a Flat Earth? These are not government shills, these are people in every day walks of life who are required to keep a secret to their deathbed.

I think we both agree here on one point.
More research needs to be done and the FES should be given far greater funding so we can get some more sufficient answers.With more significant money through grants they can do more research to provide the answers that people rightfully seem to crave.

On a side note,you should check out the thread in the science forum regarding flat,two dimensional black holes. This theory actually has some of the worlds leading physicists doing some excellent research, and I find this topic fascinating.It could lead to some great discoveries in other areas in the future in helping us understand what is really going on.

More research needs to be done and the FES should be given far greater funding so we can get some more sufficient answers.With more significant money through grants they can do more research to provide the answers that people rightfully seem to crave.

On a side note,you should check out the thread in the science forum regarding flat,two dimensional black holes. This theory actually has some of the worlds leading physicists doing some excellent research, and I find this topic fascinating.It could lead to some great discoveries in other areas in the future in helping us understand what is really going on.

It does seem there is a lot of interest in flat earth going by this thread,it's nearly 80 pages long., That tells me people would like to know more. Seems like there are a lot of questions and some people aren't happy with those answers. That's fair enough,but as I see it the only way to get the better answers people want is a major increase in funding.
By the way,your not the only person who pays taxes. I'd rather my taxes be spent on greater public transport,rather than roads but I live with it. I'd like my children to be taught alternate theories on many things so they can understand and make decisions for themselves,not have mainstream views forced upon them. Mainstream views I do believe should continue to be taught also.
