Why would it be necessary to conceal a flat earth from the public? To what end would such a conspiracy exist? I have read of the idea that a giant ice wall exists at the edges of the world, guarded by NASA (right, because NASA is a military organisation, oh wait...). I have read of plane pilots swearing to secrecy. I have read of many ways and means of hiding the 'truth' from the public. I have not read of a single explanation as to why. These undertakings would be monstrously expensive, and they would be on-going expenses, and all for what? There isn't a satisfactory explanation for why this conspiracy exists.

I think we both agree here on one point.
More research needs to be done and the FES should be given far greater funding so we can get some more sufficient answers.With more significant money through grants they can do more research to provide the answers that people rightfully seem to crave.

On a side note,you should check out the thread in the science forum regarding flat,two dimensional black holes. This theory actually has some of the worlds leading physicists doing some excellent research, and I find this topic fascinating.It could lead to some great discoveries in other areas in the future in helping us understand what is really going on.

The only funding they should be given is to reeducate themselves so they don't waste their time and money believing in such a ridiculous notion.

I'm surprised that people here who keep asking for more and better evidence would be against the FES being given a substantial increase in Grants.
How else do you expect them to obtain the answers you crave on such a limited budget?

Cannot, do you think the FES should be given substantial increases in funding to better research the information the ball earthers on this thread constantly demand?
Personally I find it difficult to find the in depths answers some are demanding and I think this has a lot to do with the shoe string budgets scientists associated with the FES have to work with with.

To be fair you believe that the Apollo missions made it threw the van allen belt. That is just as stupid considering NASA is on record they have yet to design a spacecraft capable of safely transporting humans through it.

I've said there is a 25-30% chance the earth is round under the current model we are being told. I've said it numerous times,what else do you want.

You don't think people who are demanding more evidence than that being provided,while at the same time saying the FES shouldn't be given substantial increases in funding are trolls?
Seems a pretty strange and inconsistent viewpoint to me. How many billions of dollars are we spending on the Big Bang,still no factual proof.
Gravity? Why not give some of that money to the FES to try and get a greater understanding of UA?
