just wondering if anyone has Feddy Adu on thier game? I cant find the bugger anywhere.. He would be a good asset for the Victory.

I think he's playing for DC United in mine from memory - worth about 2mill (probably cost more to buy though).

I picked up Clint Dempsey from the MLS to try and get some Merchandise sales up. Also did a tour of the US & Korea and my Merchanising income is starting to increase because of it. When I next request for a feeder club I'm hoping it's from Korea/China/Japan/USA because they give you heeeeaaaps of income.

Yeah, but that sometimes doesn't work. I've search for a player by name, it didn't come up, and when you go and have a look at what team they play for - there they are. Might depend on the size of database you're running and what leagues you've got loaded.

So I'm playing 1 lone striker with AML, AMC, AMR, 1 CM, Wing Backs and 3 DC's. Very good tactic at home... It's an attacking tactic... Leaks in quite a few goals. 1st match was against Kuwait in the Asian CUp quallies. Scored the 1st 2 but then Kuwait levelled at 2-2. Then went to 3-3. Then pulled away to 5-3 in the end. Aloisi was the gun scored a hattrick. Chippers scored 2- Bresciano was injured then. I then went and thrashed Lebanon 5-0. Aloisi scored ANOTHER hatrick . I then went to Kuwait... to play Kuwait. 0-0. ZzzzZZzzzzz.. We dominated but couldn't get a goal. Pretty embarrassing draw. THats all I've done at the moment... Besides the usuals, there aren't many young guns.... it's groing to be pretty tough going when these guys retire. Hopefully some World Class re-gens pop up.

Don't hold your breath mate, Australia is frustrating to manage in the future. I'm playing the 2010 World Cup and a lot of players are getting old and slow now.

I thought I had a fair chance of qualifying from my group but then my players decided to freeze. I lost to Romania 2-0 in the first game, then fell 1-0 down to Portugal in my 2nd game which i had to win.
61st minute Grella pushes a guy in the chest, red card, **** i hate the fact there are too many red cards for off the ball incidents.
86th minute McDonald AND Kewell both sent off, McDonald for shoving and Kewell for kicking, both off the ball of course. What a ****ing joke.
I am definitely quitting my job as Aussie manager, it's too frustrating. Easy to get through Asia but on the world stage it's crap and when you get 3 red cards in 25 minutes at the world cup.. well that is just ****ed.

Sitting 6th in League Two with 6 games to go, but conceeding late goals is getting ****ing ridiculous. Just lost another game with the last kick of the match. It's cost me at least 10 points this year and nothing seems to be working tactically.

I'm 8 points off 1st, 2nd and 3rd, who are on 67 points, and I'm on 59 with 3 other teams. The tightarses didn't give me any funds, even though I now have 500k in the bank, so I've relied on frees my best being a Finnish keeper who's stats are good for a Premiership side.

Won the champions league with Atletico woooo. First ever win against Barcelona couldn't have come at a better time. Sergio Aguero scored in the 30th minute despite them having most of the play. At about the 60th minute mark i brought on another defende for a striker and went ultra defensive. Wasn't the best looking football but it was effective.
Madrid is going crazy! My poor cousins Real Madrid must be so jealous.
Have been given a huge transfer budget for the next season. 46 mil. Have signed Tim Cahill for 10 mil. Going after Beckham and Ballack to add some big names to the squad to get the team's profile up a bit. Dont really need them though. Looking for a Marcelo type DR. I have signed Shmoeller and training him to be a DR but at the moment he is ineffectual there.

North American Champions League final vs Chivas of Mexico as FC Dallas.

First leg at home, won 5-2

Can't lose from here surely.

Chivas get a goal after about 20 minutes in the 2nd leg, to make it 3-5, then about seven minutes before the half, Drew Moor (who is attracting interest from PSV, Lazio, Bestikias and Charlton and is my best centre back by a country mile) gets wrongly sent off for a second yellow card. It was also in the box. 4-5

They get one early in the second half they get a third. 5-5, losing on away goals. Then another. 6-5. ****ed.

Then I pull one back, 6-6, still away goals. 15 minutes to find another goal.

They get another one!!! 7-6. Doesn't matter, still need another goal to make it extra time.

Then my other friggin centre back gets sent off (this after getting a straight red in the finals the year before and copping a six match ban at the start of this season). Down to 9 players. F*cked.

I lose, am livid. Spray the team, and in particular Freddy Adu who had a nightmare.

Saved the game, and quit it in disgust.

Looks like a few of us aren't going so well

I'm in the same boat after my bunch of ****ing spuds choked.

I'm playing away to Peterborough, who I beat easily earlier in the season, needing only a draw to win auto promotion to League One. I set a defensive tactic, thinking it'll at worst be a draw at the end of 90 minutes.

In the 15th minute my star defender literally stands and watches the guy he's meant to be marking run straight past him and score their first.

Exactly one minute later, from the kickoff, we fart around, they take the ball, cross it in, the same 'defender' misses an interception and leaves an open goal for them to slot in their second.

I'm literally fuming, so I set it to all out attack with a quick tempo and direct passing, which unsurprisingly fails to create any chances, and in true FM style, they get their third in the 35th minute from a clearance

The game finishes 3-0 and I give them a spray, then they go off and whinge to the media. ****.

So I'm stuck in fourth, with playoffs I'm almost certain we'll lose approaching.

I think it is quite possible for release clauses to remain private. I don't think they are necessarily publicly known.
