Before the match today Ben Matthews, Rhyce Shaw and Nick Malceski were walking around the boundary and kicking the footy with their kids before the Swans ran out, as recent inductees into the Swans hall of fame. Nick is still a very good looking rooster and Rhyces boys are already better kicks than their old man, shame Gold Coast academy will prob have first dibs. All of them embraced and chatted to Brett Kirk and Jarrod McVeigh (and Mark McVeigh) when they came out on the field with the rest of the coaching panel and high fived Jarrod Crouch who was over the fence in the grandstand. Good to see the love of the boys from that wonderful era.

Great player. Went to North, won a flag and came back to finish his career.
One of the best blokes , was treated like shit at South , so went to North and won a flag. Came back and was set up by Graig Kimberley in a Just Jeans store in Malvern

Think he eventually got shitty with Ian Stewart who wanted him to retire. Went to Fitzroy briefly maybe to get to 300 or something like that IIRC.

Just read a tweet from Nick Davis that states he's leaving the club. No specific job or destination though.
Bit strange just before the start of the AFLW season given he's (was) the senior assistant coach.

Especially after such a high the weekend before for him. What a shame we never got to see the 200+ game career that his talent and early performance at the top level suggested was on the cards.
