I only follow Swans players, so their names all came up straight away, as opposed to the Hawks, none of whom I follow.
 
Too much time on my hands ... out of curiosity went back and checked the most recent 22 Swans listed players to have been listed at another AFL team the following season.

Malceski, Aliir, Newman
Jones, Everitt, Dawson
Stephens, Bird, Jetta
Hewett, Cameron, Membrey
Lamb, Nankervis, Rohan
Mumford, Mitchell, Hanners
I/C: Armstrong, White, Biggs, Murray

Not bad, maybe one too many rucks/key forwards but a key defender short.

EDIT: Had Bird in the team twice and forgot Membrey.

One of my all time favourite players. Always gave 110%. Loved the bloke. Sold into slavery.
I used to watch him coming off the field. He was exhausted. Mentally and physically he gave it all.
Truly a Bird Medal should be awarded each game to the player that GAVE IT ALL.

Agree. He deserves some luck.

Watched the Mighty Borough in a few games and Sam was a stand out.

Hope that site is right.

St Kilda vs Sydney 1994 at the SCG on Foxtel at the moment.

Watching a bunch of skinny kids like Dale Lewis, Brad Seymour, Troy Luff and Darryn Cresswell get murdered by Plugger …. who delighted in acts of brutality that’d likely earn you a 4 week holiday these days.

2 years later, Plugger was, thanks to the Swans culture, a completely reformed character - a beacon of fair play, who loved cute kittens and baa lambs …. and got our skinny kids to a GF.

As an aside - easy to forget how good Simon Minton Connell was.
 
Lewis Taylor is coaching Terang Mortlake in 2024 and he has poached Nick Shipley.

Leo Barry's son Isaac to train with Carlton's VFL side over the summer in hopes of being listed with their VFL team.

He's 18. Had issues with his shoulder which has effected how much footy he's been able to play in the last year or so. Not ideal for someone who was already a speculative prospect at best.
