Teremoana looked really dangerous at MSG yesterday and seems to have the personality to be really well liked ala Fury. Needs to box more high quality heavyweights to see if he's legit. Next fight will be in his hometown of Brisbane in August. Eddie Hearn wants to get him another 3-4 wins going into 2026 and then launch a proper campaign for a world title shot. Great for Aussie boxing to have two heavyweights in Teremoana and Huni who could both contend for world titles. Throw Opetaia in there one day as well when he eventually makes the move up to heavyweight. Future looking bright for Aussie heavyweight boxing.

Side note - it's funny to hear Teremoana mentioning that he grew up wanting to play for the NSW Blues in State of Origin considering he played all of his junior rugby league in Brisbane. The main reason it's humorous is that, despite being born in Sydney, he would actually be aligned to Queensland according to the State of Origin criteria and unable to represent the Blues. So that dream will forever be a dream, even if he did make the unlikely switch to rugby league later in his life.

Kambosos has done well for himself for someone that was never this level.. 20+ million in the bank over 5 losses

I mean he did unify the division with an epic win, but he certainly made heaps of money afterwards just from that one win.

I hope he pulls the pin, been a great career, heaps of fighters say they'll take anyone on but he certainly did this. Bringing Haney over wasn't that smart really, he was never gonna beat him, Garcia would have been a better option. But either way much respect.

Disagree Inter it was smart from a financial incentive. He made his money and cashed in while he was hot. Garcia would have flogged him anyway and we saw what could happen against a lesser fighter in Maxi Hughes he got the win but lost that fight. He took on the best for top dollar and set up his life. I tipped him to beat Lopez but didn't see a lot of him tbh. Kambosos wasn't a top level fighter like I thought he was. In the second ha ey fight he changed his tactics from the first fight but only used them for one round. All he did was move his head and move around but not throw. Stupid.

How good can Tszyu be? I think he destroys fundora knocking him out. The real tests should come from there.

Get his WBO belt back from Fundora and then have another fight or two in Australia to build some confidence before going back to the US next year in pursuit of unification bouts. That's where I see it going for Timmy. As for how good he can be, the fight against Murtazaliev probably speaks volumes.
