With all the negativity floating around the board I thought it would be a nice change of pace to give some praise where it was due. Yep i'm referring to the return of The Human Glove, our man Presti.

I thought he was brilliant last night on Fev and later Brown. He completely shut Fev out of the game early before getting shifted onto an out of control Brown. He was good on Brown also, I think was only beaten on one occasion. And we all know what happened with Fev once he was freed up.

We all know the season is a marathon and it is great to know that Presti will be fresh come finals time with the rests he has been given. Brilliant move by the club.

Now we just need to figure out who to partner with him at CHB

Great effort by Presti, and I still say we might have beaten Geelong if he had of played.

Last night he was brilliant, stopping Fev who is on fire, and restricting Brown.

As you mentioned though, he had no partner last night. Nathan Brown had to play last night, it was one of the few games where Nate and Presti can play together, bad mistake Mick Malthouse.

Presti's back though, bad luck Barry sooky sooky Hall.:)

I think you're right Mattys in retrospect Brown would have been a better option but i'm still happy Reid got the experience. I think Reids performance is being over player, he was pretty stiff early with some poor calls. He was poor though.

Now c'mon people where is the Presti love? :D

Presti is our best defender by a country mile. Even when beaten the pressure he applies is enormous. Im not a fan of having both Presti and Brown in the same team at the same time but last night was one occassion where we were caught out.

Reid needs more games under his belt and he was not helped by poor umpiring decisions where he was pushed in the back and under the ball by Brown/Fev.

Malthouse stuffed up when he took Presti off Fevola.
He should have left things as they were.
Even if Reid was being beaten by Jonathan Brown it did not hurt us as when he put Maxwell on Fevola and Presti on Brown.
It is unlikely Fevola would have kicked the 4 goals on Presti which was the difference in the end.

Presti was outstanding. Reid was horrible. I said it before the game, Nathan Brown was far better suited to this game... and what a surprise, Reid's opponent ran rampant. Reid isn't strong enough for Brown, and he goes to ground too much to be able to control Fevola - who is brilliant at ground level. And obviously Maxwell was always going to be smashed by Fev. Bad selection decision.

Presti was good but he could not play on Both J Brown and Fev.

Hate to know what happend if he did NOT play last night
