It's called privilege. The contributors of the Bible don't care about anything other than the things they care for. If fcuking a bloke is disgusting in their mind then it's a sin. If fcuking their sister is not objectionable or even desirable, then it's okay. Oh no, but it's really "God" who had the problem, not those propagating the Bible's message which just so happens to perfectly align with their agenda.Riddle me this, how homosxuality is a sin but incest isnt. Can anyone explain this?
You got proof, or is that another opinion? Why don't you just answer the question? Did you choose Catholicism when you had reached an age of reason, or were you immersed in it from birth and voraciously consumed its teachings without a second thought as to its legitimacy? You're a dickhead and that's about all there is to it.
Its a fair question and he said its the best religion out there, but i cant ask him why did he choose that over islam cause then i am a dickheadYou chose to be Catholic? Why?

Are you ******* kidding me? so if someone is gay he has to "search for lord and has will" for not to be judged? why cant i be a normal person without being judged by a judgemental ******* cause i prefer dicks over vaginas?
So what happens if i am an atheist homosexual?
And you made some sarcastic comment about me being a breath of fresh air a couple of weeks back when I joined this forum? You don't even post crap, you just post hollow, empty words of nothingness.
lol what??? you have constantly defended the fundamentalists while making fun with your typical one liners when i clearly said that their interpretation of bible is wrong. You know it well it is wrong since you are well read on philosophy. You know what symbolises adam and eve, you know what symbolises karma (for someone who claims to be well read on Jung, FMD) i tried to point it out and all i received as ridicule from the likes of bennett and you. Please stop playing the "high morality" card, it doesnt suit youSounds like nothingness does the trick then.
Where exactly does all this decrying of institutionalized religion get you anyways?....It's all been done to death.
If someone in this thread actually makes an insightful & worth-while comment, then I'll feel inspired to contribute.
All circle-work at the minute....With the usual crew taking the Mickey out of Bos & Ben....Ho-hum.
You chose to be Catholic? Why?
Thank you , it was that simple to answer and didnt need abuse. CheersThe saints , apostolic tradition.. the sense that people who knew people who knew people who knew Jesus. The deep sense of love for others. It's interpretation of the Bible. The fact that it doesn't rely on charisma or feelings.
Rituals and symbols. The sense that if you play your part there are answers to everything that life may throw at you. 2000 years of human knowledge at your disposal. Knowing that the church and humanity has grown together.
I'm sure other people from other religions or beliefs can come up with just as good a list but they're some of my reasons.

He just didn't want to answer me. I'm not BT's favourite person right now.Thank you , it was that simple to answer and didnt need abuse. Cheers
There is zero point in debating the NT bible from an Aristotelian Metaphysical viewpoint....Christianity is founded upon a Platonic Metaphysic, incorporating the irrational side of human nature, the noumenal world & it's archetypes.
The foundation of the scientific method rests upon Aristotles' categorizations of the empirical world only....It does not incorporate the human psyche.
Understanding religion necessitates a universally holistic approach. An approach, not amenable to a logical mind-set alone.
Until you can grasp the element of 'the holy other', then there is zero point in discussing religion with you & others here.... A hermetic approach, incorporating a feel for & empathy with, a religious mind-set, seems beyond your capabilities....And it will remain so, until you grow-up & drop the ego-tripping.
Mumbo jumbo... answer some yes or no questions; There is zero point in debating the NT bible from an Aristotelian Metaphysical viewpoint....Christianity is founded upon a Platonic Metaphysic, incorporating the irrational side of human nature, the noumenal world & it's archetypes.

He doesnt believe in evolution , so i am assuming yes to all of the above.Mumbo jumbo... answer some yes or no questions;
Q. Do you subscribe to young earth creationism?
Q. Do you subscribe to the Genesis creation narrative?
Q. Do you subscribe to the Genesis flood narrative?
But I don't want to be called anti Semitic because I have German heritage and it makes me uncomfortableI wouldn't leave out Judaism in your hit list, they have strict rules pertaining a woman's cycle.

Take a walk thru any children's ward in any hospital and you soon realise the lack of god in our worldhttp://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-11-05/michael-buble-says-3yo-son-noah-diagnosed-with-cancer/7997860
Many more children die every year from cancer. Why is it God's will to bestow upon an innocent child a terminal illness? The irony with Michael Buble putting his career on hold means that he won't be doing any live Christmas performances - Christmas being a celebration of Jesus Christ's birth.
Michael is also a man of faith and has asked for prayers and understanding. Sorry Mick, but prayers won't do shit to help your child. The amzing doctors and modern medicine through science will, hopefully, though. Caring and compassionate people will completely understand, however.
To all the children around the world suffering from Cancer and other illnesses, my thoughts (sans prayers) go out to you. To Michael's son, I hope you can beat that abnormal cell growth within your body and live a long and fulfilling life. There's absolutely no reason for a three-year-old child to suffer and potentially die.
