People are saying that his role has changed this year and that he might be carrying an injury, especially in his calf.
I say "rubbish", but you Adelaide supporters might know more about it.
How come he is playing average football this year?
Is it just a form slump or is there something we do not know?

Form slump? Who knows ... its also hard to judge when he isnt playing the same position. Bottom line is the coaching staff think we need to integrate our ''younger'' players into the midfield. Sometimes you get opportunities , such as injuries, or you play sides you ''expect'' to beat and the B team plays a bigger role

I would say he is spending less time in the midfield due to a new midfield coming through coupled with not being 100% fit.

Looks to be carrying an injury, but hey, do we have a player that isn't?

I think he's also being used in a much more defensive role this season. I've seen him spending a fair bit of time at half back and minimal game time on ball. Has also had a couple of tagging jobs from memory.

I thought he looked more of a tagger than defensive. He was following Goodes around everywhere like a bad smell.
