Hrmmmm there's a couple people
Missing from in here who should basically be re-posting their entire 12months of posts/threads.

I wanted Astbury traded.
Even started a thread on how we jumped the gun giving him number 12.

Yeah. You read through these posts and things come back to you. I was so wrong in Astbury. Just thought he was a bust with all the injuries.

I always thought three tall forwards was too many but never thought one would be enough. I was sure Griff's injuries would derail our season eventually.

Other than that I'm not sure I was wrong about anything (not that I make many big calls). Here's my ladder predictor from before Round 1, I never wavered from then (even after the AO defeat):

I rang my sister after the GWS loss and told her our season was over (in much more colorful language) and that there was no coming back for us after 3 losses under a goal in a row. I really didn’t think we’d have it in us to bounce back after those three heart-breakers... pretty happy to be eating my words!

I repeatedly called for Lennon to come into the side mid year as I thought we were lacking a second forward target who could kick straight.

Great call! Personally it cost me a washing basket that I smashed when Cameron slotted the goal in the last minute against gws. My God did that basket smash to a million pieces. #angerissues
My missus’ dog always hides when I watch the footy, but he wouldn’t come near me for two days after that game.

ok ill be honest, its actually pretty rare for me to go early on a bloke but i thought lambo was a pretty limited footy player, boy was i wrong and showed me up for what i know, he s playing A grade football, love it lambo keep it up, terrific example of hard work , dedication and BELIEF

Did u go to the gf, I ditched the gf guarantee after missing finals 2012 however upgraded to Mrc late this year
No, didn't make it, didn't look too hard for tickets, was happy to watch with the family at home. Still one of the best days of my life.

I mostly steer clear of predictions or big calls but I do recall a game(not sure which one) where I declared to my mate that I thought Prestia would be a bust for this season at least. Thought he just looked sore and struggling.
I don’t think he missed a beat from about that point on!
Well done me!!

I stated that Caddy was a dud and we'd regret drafting him. Slow with a poor engine and not up to it. He didn't set the world on fire, however, became an extremely important part of the side. Provided hardness and pressure.

I just hope he can continue to provide the same intensity. Regardless recruiting him has paid off already, no matter what he produces from now on. I have to eat my words. I'm Wr wr wr wrapped.

Usual suspect things. Thought we needed another tall forward (Griff or even Lennon). Too many smalls. Nank wouldn't make it in 2017. About 6 of the GF team weren't up to a GF.

I got top 4 right - for the wrong reasons re game plan. Worked out what was going on by the end of the H&A season and then understood what I was seeing.

Thought Broad was a very limited footballer with no AFL level qualities, i.e speed, Agility, decision making and skills. Just couldnt understand how we could possibly have drafted him. Wrong completely, after re watching all the finals numerous times I thought he was excellent, strong body, great attack on the ball, sharp, good runner and apart from 1 bad kick a game not bad skills.

I also would have sacked Dimma, hated the slow gameplan with little to no defensive pressure (I was right there) but just didnt think Dimma had it in him to recognise his own faults well enough to turn it round, and thought if he did it would cost him the players as they would lose faith. I think Dimma is the person at the club that I am happiest for, huge effort for him to manage all that, and like most of us who have been critical of his coaching, I realise all along he is a ripping bloke, very very glad to be wrong here.
