Much better than the tripanel.I actually don't find the Ochre that bad. If that's considered our worst ever guernsey then we're laughing considering the tripe other clubs come up with.

Exactly. It’s admitting that as a club they’re not always gonna get it right. And sometimes the fans aren’t going to agree with them. But that’s okay, because, just like the fans, the club cares.Ochre is that perfect late 90s early 2000s retro number that would be well received right now. Do it.

Just like literally everything else, the club want the $$$ that comes from selling a retro guernsey and don't care about whether it's 'good' or the fans are 'happy' or members are treated 'well'With the Retro Guernsey poll concluding next Saturday at midnight, I’m puzzled (but not surprised) as to why the Club has made no effort at all to promote it on their socials and website.
When it went live on Tuesday, I was anticipating articles from the usual suspects (The West, FOX Footy, etc) reporting about the Club’s possibility to return “an infamous design”.
Do they not want the engagement? Or do they just want the safe navy wings option to win by default, given the vocal distain from older Members.
And a number of people in the Facebook groups I’m in can’t even locate the poll email, claiming it was never sent to their inbox. Doesn’t bode well.![]()

A poll is basically market research. If they really only cared about the $$$ from sales, they'd put the effort in to make sure that they genuinely got the most popular option.
Will consider it.Ring up 6pr and email the west.

So it's goodbye to Whopper goals? Will consider it.
And since I'm contributing to this forum a little more than I do usually (have been a daily reader since 2015), I might as well mention this odd detail.

Hungry Jack's (and SGIO retroactively for some reason) have been scrubbed off the photos on the Naitanui retirement can cooler, with Lendi the lone sponsor. The earlier released Hurn and Shuey can coolers retain their sponsor logos as normal.
And what is weird, the promotional image from the SuperStore has the logos on the can cooler intact, and the coffee mug variant listing on the website also remains unedited.

It could be nothing, but seeing right wing nude and sponsor-less looks very weird and cheap.
But I remember when the NB logo was photoshopped off prior to the announcement of Caltex as the collar sponsor.
Could the Club be saying farewell to HJ's in November?![]()
Ochre is a fun jumper to reflect on, but god horrible when it happened, how it happened and why it happened
God damn you Wembley Primary School!
I believe in that superstition too after the attempt in 2015 with Bankwest on the front instead!Hope not. Flags don’t happen without HJs (and SGIO)

It would be a shame if that were the case, though sponsors come and go as we've seen, and it's nice the Club reunited with Hungry Jack's a second time to restore the holy trinity (royal blue and gold wings + SGIO + HJ's).The sponsors were scrubbed for a reason, so perhaps HJs are moving on?
