The royal and gold is such a strong, high contrast, unique combo.
It clashes with almost no other jumper.

Just wish the AFL would allow us to ditch the white shorts and just were blue.

There are so many other predominantly dark kits out: Carlton, Freo whos purple is so dark these days, Collingwoods white on black, Adelaide, Port, Essendon, Melb, Richmond, Hawks can be when they go yellow on brown, GWS.

Let's keep our unique identity and heritage and never bring navy back. Maybe only once a year for a special jumper

Yeah we need to stop ****ing around with our colours. Club final got back to its roots 7 years ago. Royal/gold need to be as sacred going forward as much yellow/black, red/black, Black and White.

But I’m also happy to have a third guernsey that is neither of these colours should we need to for clash purposes. Maybe only worn once a year.

I went to the Mt Barker gane and we looked physically stronger in navy for some reason.

I looked awesome v Red and white Swans

I also went to that game and it was a great look - as a special jumper. If it was every week, it would feel more generic.

People naturally associate dark colours as masculine/tougher. The comp has too many black/navy colours already. Royal and Gold are vibrant af and really pop.

Someone on reddit made a kit for each of the players trade. Gotta say out of all the trades colours to lions jumper was the best. Even Brissy colours on our kit aren’t too bad

Just bumping this thread because I'm desperate for any news on the 2026 jumpers. Who is producing them? Are we back to the golden age of Puma or will we see something weird and out of left field like Norf and Kookaburra?

If we were changing suppliers I dare say we would've heard about it on Nov 1. Any new merch supplier would want their gear on the shelves ASAP.

The lack of news makes me think we've quietly extended with NB.

I'm fine with this, New Balance is quality kit. Puma would just be a pleasant surprise

Wow good catch - that is a pretty big clue. No other reason I could think of for WCE to be following Nike.

I legitimately don't know what this could possibly be other than like a new jumper or building sponsor. You'd think it would be out there on social media by now if it was anything involving a player or a coach unless it's like another W player retiring

Sorry for the late post.

My view on this is that the delay was tied to the W team making finals. They are no longer tied as a league to Cotton On, so we’ll almost certainly have a shared supplier.

Who that is I don’t know - Puma is my best guess for reasons I’ve discussed prior. Could well just be a NB extension / taking on the W side also.
