If they did that I'd want the back changed to a flat navy back personally. The faithful reproduction was nice, but the back of the thing is still as horrific as it ever was.

Front on, with navy shorts, I love it.

I like this idea, maybe alternate it with the navy wings. Have GR as our designated Retro/rewind jumper.

But you know they are unlikely to do that as it gives them a new jumper to sell each season.

The reigning premiers (a 90s powerhouse) unfurling their flag on a Friday night at the MCG against the biggest interstate powerhouse in the land....

And they get just over 20k to their game.

Can I put on record how many problematic it is only using the Canary away strip only three times this season? I get two of those opportunities were white anted by the beautiful Ochre, but I’d prefer it if we went back to how it was during the tri-panel days, always wear the second kit as an away kit, instead of using it as a clash.

Loved watching this. Jeez, some big name players in this clash. And how refreshing to see a game without this stupid stand rule! This was real footy, fast and furious. And of course, the ochre. Awesome!

2000 was a very strange year when we won we absolutely belted teams , remember Scott Cummings kicking 25 goals in 3 weeks.

I’m expecting our normal jumper with a poppy/ANZAC patch on it. Isn’t that what we always do?

Watched a bit of it too.

One thing that stood out was how well so many players kicked on their non-preferred foot. Even big Gardy, who had the most ungainly kicking action, got onto a couple of decent ones. Then there was silky Dean Kemp who soccered the ball up into his hands and then laced out a leading Scotty Cummings on his left peg.
