Been terrible for many weeks now. HIs poor form put us under unneeded pressure today as Leon had to go up forward because of him which let Garlett in the game.
Just worries me that under September heat he can't hold himself in a contest and will be a liability. Will get gobbled up by Geelong's defense.
Need Dids back in good touch and keep Blair in the small forward role with Beams,Sidey, and a few others rotating into it.

I thought that he was OK....
We had a few players down today...
He certainly wasn't the worst player out there..

Most of the side looked a bit flat....

I thought Krakouer was ok, did get caught with the ball a bit. Overall I thought we made a lot of errors and coughed the ball up too much.

Krakouer played his part, but not scoring goals which we need him to do.

Made lot of errors in the first half plus looked a bit slow, but pretty good after half time when moved into the middle.

If Didak comes in, he may be given a rest.

I think the last few weeks have shown that his best spot is as a mid who floats forward.

If you take out his first quarter I thought he was pretty good; he didnt get it that much but his ability to hit set stuff up from the midfield is very good imo. Also put on a lot of tackles today which was good.

The biggest issue seems to be that it takes him about a quarter to get used to the pace of the game.

I personally don't like forwards that don't impact as a forward. Frystrates how long he holds on to the ball sometimes and he's run down from behind at least once a week

Definitely needs a rest. However, some of his forward passes to the advantage of our players today was exceptional. Still looks out of sorts up forward and needs a stint on the sidelines. Thank God for Leon, absolute star!

8 tackles, 14 disposals, 8 inside 50s.

He's doing a role. He'll get better.

And had a goal robbed from him with a free to Watson

Better upfield then deep forward, certainly not terrible

Was really good in the second half when he pushed up the field and started delivering the ball inside 50 and setting up multiple forward thrusts. At the very least he is tackling very hard which is what we really need and he will always put his head over the ball. He is, however, desperately slow, and is getting caught very easily at the moment and going to ground way too often, which is not good to see. His game is such a mixed bag at the moment.

But yeah, he definitely needs a rest, although I'm still not entirely convinced he has a place in our best 22. Blokes like Didak and Macaffer have a good track record and may be better options going forward. And davis looked a lot more dangerous as a crumbing forward than Krak did to be honest. Beams also has a place in the side in my view.

Tough choices ahead.

Its such a tough role to play.. you need to take your oppotunities or you come out looking like you have played poorly.. Leon couldn't play it under pressure in finals. I think krak is doing a pretty good job.

Problem is that he is not a forward anymore. Krak played well in the third and did some good link up work in the middle, I hope it is just a fitness issue and we see him in the middle more often, it's where he has played his best footy in his career.

+1, clearly way more dangerous as a midfielder who floats forward rather than a straight up forward pocket. As a pocket he doesn't get the space needed to really have an impact, whereas in the third it saw that when he get that space in the midfield he can be pretty lethal with his delivery into the 50.

Anyway today he could easily have kicked a couple, and a couple of goal assists and several tackles which seems like a pretty decent game to me.

My biggest issue with him at the moment is how slow he seems to start games. Feels like he starts super slow and then plays pretty well the second half most weeks.

I don't think he has a place in the 22 as a midfielder- slow, gets caught, physically very weak, prone to clangers under pressure. Also, anyone have stats for goals he's kicked in last 5wks? Would be very few.

Blair has cemented his spot with good form, and Fasolo is ahead of him. Krak should make way for Didak, and then over several wks I would phase in Beams and Caff for Rounds and Fasolo.

For a while reading this thread I thought I was the only one who realised he is playing much more time in the middle, as he did yesterday.
I think MM wants him to learn and understand our midfields structure so that we have even greater numbers who can play there.
He has moved on from being 'just' a forward
