Im still a fair way off school holidays in adelaide so im not sure whats going on interstate

Damn LaTrobe uni not giving us Labour Day off.. Its alright i suppose cause i dun start uni til 3pm on Mondays anyways. And i have Thursday off and only 2 hours on Friday.. Kinda feels like i have 5 days off a week...

i don't have tomorrow off. got a 9 - 3 day which will be a strain. and then work 5 - 9.. after tuesday tho my uni week is over so i'm not that fussed really.

What?? School Holidays already?? What date did they start back after xmas??

I thought my son's school was bad enough. He was in yr7 last year (primary school in Qld) and finished the last week of November and went back on the 27th of January this year, then on holidays again on the 30th of March this year for 2 weeks for easter. I couldnt' cope if he was on holidays again already!

And as for Labour Day. I don't wanna know about it! Grrrrrr......

It's not a public holiday here on Monday. We get that particular holiday in May.

Considering since:
a. i've never been to Adelaide
b. dont really want to go to Adelaide
c. am scared in general of Adelaide-ian people.. (do u really trash Vic no. plate cars at AAMI?)
and d. i'm not really turned on by either churches or opals...

Seem to work harder on long weekends. This weekend so far has included measuring and buying skirting, architrave and paint for the entrance hall. Adding final coats of plaster to jionts and then sanding smooth in 36c.
By this time tomorrow night the leader of the opposition expects atleast two coats of paint on the walls aswell as some movement on the skirts and achitraves. I can't wait till get back to work.
