I'll wait for them to walk the walk. Heard all this BS before. I also want the coaches to begin admitting when they stuff up.
True - me too. They need to walk the talk consistently across the year. But it was good not have a leader placating us with promises about what they're going to do- like Dom would and Travis often does.

YEP! Sick of talk. Until they start actually producing, I'm not even wasting time listening to what they say they're going to do.

Hello LR. I get the point all right. I remember KT gushing about the club and it's arm wrapping around Ken and Donna. Hence the I couldn't care less how she thinks and feels. I love the club. She doesn't.

lol

what on earth have we become.

I feel your frustrations but it's important to remember that we dont have to sacrifice the off-field work to be successful on-field.
He's probably right Qne thing and only one thing matters in the end for a footy Club , suspend all this feel good stuff on the sidelines , maybe when we achieve what we were Founded and exist for should we expend time and effort on other things.

There's no reason why we cant do both at the same time.

No, I disagree. I think they have both been excellent captains, both leading under very difficult circumstances.

In both instances they have followed their coach's instructions, attempted to lead from the front, and fulfilled their public duties very well.

Neither will be remembered as a great of the club, true, but I am not holding that against them.

It’s a sign of where the club is at when you consider that our on-field leader has had to reinvent himself into a less crucial cog in the game plan wheel just to maintain his position in the team.

Just heard the interview with Ollie on sportsday. Sounds like they've had a few days of talking about accountability and focusing on holding each other to account, whilst on the field also. It was good to get some indication that players are realising the seriousness of whats happened, and having a leader share this on radio (rather than talking in cliches).

Talk is cheap, how is this any different to all the others times we have lost? It's the same shit week after week and nothing changes. Do what they do in Missouri F**KIN SHOW US!!!

The leadership of the Port Adelaide FC..... Non existent. Not just Boak (he is and has been a very good captain, just isn't in our best 22 as a player anymore. he will lose the captaincy for this reason)

The biggest problem is leadership off field, Hinkley extension, Voss extension, Now will we lose Polec ?

The acceptance of underperforming, "we exist to win premierships" well apparently not.

Everyone, KT, David Koch, Hinkley, Boak. All of them weak. It starts from the top.

Happy to be a part of the competition and just being mediocre.

On and off field we just continue to make terrible decision after terrible decision. Whether that be game plan, contracts, selection, media. Just doesn’t end. How this administration and leadership team can still be in charge of our club is beyond a joke.

Overrated bunch of trash.

I can’t wait until you’re out of my club.

Rant end.
There is truth in this rant, but I don't think the people mentioned are bad; but most are being misused. They all have plenty of qualities, but those may be not being properly managed to get us maximum benefit from them.

It is obvious that our problem relies on the top, but I can't identify precisely who is in the wrong place, what the right place would be (including out of the club), and who should replace those who would need to be replaced.

Having said that, my first suspect would be Chris Davies. I would begin taking a look at his responsibilities as head of football and what he has done, and then going down from there.

I don't think the club is struggling in other areas as much as we are in football – if we are struggling at all. So there would be my starting point for the Operation What Happened, Port's investigations.
